I hope Rogie doesn't bugger up that filly Carte Blanche who ran 4th in the first, I did my dough, but she has a future too......
-
FFS, Riddell does same same, 3 wide against that class of filly, who'd be a fucking owner in NZ

I can only quote and reflect on the Aussie scenarios, hopefully your RIB will be diligent, transparent and thorough, if not, they need policing themselves. Animal welfare is now the hottest topic on social media, and the ABC are due for another gung ho posse chasing expose, giving them ammunition is suicide, I don't know what NZH are like, but if they are anything like the ABC they are rats up a drainpipe....

We've had a few racehorse cruelty cases prosecuted here recently, and proven. Hence long disqualifications, but no action by the SPCA.......one recent case involved a prominent country trainer and she is appealing at the moment, another, the lady involved plead guilty, but NO action by the authorities......what message does that send? I really fear we are reaching the end of the road, for racing's sake Harris needs to be innocent, but again, this is a shocking look.

Riddle me this team, how is it that 30 odd years back NZ pumped out champion jocks, too many to single out, they could all hold their own against the best here in Oz, why not now.......serious question? -

Billy, you couldn't give one a run in NZ, the jocks aren't good enough. -
Gee the fence was off yesterday, even from the first race, by the last is looked like Farmer Browns paddock......come Sat and with further rain forecast it will be very interesting Mooncoin, thankfully the main meeting is at the Sunny Coast eh? If they put the rail back into the true at Ippy we could have some argy bargy and some busy stewards I'm guessing.

She's made inroads with one DLF, he's smitten......

I'll have a bet with you Huey, I bet Bernie boy is at Hanging Rock today...apt don't you think?
-
Gee, maybe a few owners might contemplate going the 'knuckle' on a few heads, remind me again, how much was the AWT and what was the mo? FFS.
-
What happened to that lovely Roc de Cambes mare Baker had KITK? Joy Alone, she just disappeared, nommed for the big cups.......

Oh God almighty man, we do it cos we follow the very mantra I've chanted, you either don't read or don't have the capacity to absorb the content.......I'm finished with this, my head hurts, it's Australia Day, fucking ripper, lamb cutlets [25 bucks a kilo!] on the barbie, a few banana prawns, [20 bucks a kg] and a real coldie, real cold........and a few lazy wagers around the country.....see ya.

Oh my, fortunately I know a huge amount of trainers with a conscience and a good one at that, quite a few had it written in their contract of sale to Asia that the horse was to be repatriated at the conclusion of it's racing life in HK, and a few to SING also, SING is still the killing fields, however, it's good to see a former workmate of mine, Cliff Brown has quite a few of his old string at Kranji now doing well in VIC, not so many in NZ though, that could be fixed really easily if TA AND a few other ex pat Kiwi's and Ozzies came clean as to the whereabouts of all their old soldiers that defied the heat and humidity and did their very best to earn their owners a ROI up there in stinking hot SING......as for your childish churlish comments it does you no service Chief, respecting horses for what they provide us, and in return doing the very best you can for them in retirement should be paramount, and that's what many of us do......one day when and if you ever bend over, muck out, fill a water bucket, put a bridle on, saddle up, leg up, walk and walk, hose down, rub down, bandage if needs be, and give them a pat before you close the stable door, you might, just might get that feeling that most of us do......that everything is good in the world....even if it's only for a little while.......IMO.
-
Ahh Chief, you disappoint me. I mentioned Ballarat/Hawkesbury, not Randwick/Rosehill......W Farm maybe, but they''ll let anyone on there.....I think Jamie would do great in a country style atmosphere and, they just don't throw boxes in town at you.....except if you're a famous ex AFL coach and you've found someone to share their stables with you..... I don't think Jamie is too proud to kick off at where I've mentioned, but it's not happening, he's chosen HK.......fingers crossed he's chosen right.

To each his own Chief, but being facetious is below you....or is it? when it comes to horse welfare there is no room for flippancy. If that's your mantra then whoa betide you fella because sure as hell the Karma bus will come visit...... The Hong Kongers bought in the mandatory horse repat, it took a long time, but they finally saw sense....and decency, SING are still way behind, like they were when I lived in KL and they were part of the Ipoh/Penang/KL/SING circuit......you might not believe in it, but racehorse syndication should have to uphold the most stringent of welfare protocols, and educating newcomers to racing should be paramount. Just because you don't have a conscience is irrelevant, lets hope the governing body gets with the program, otherwise the militant anti-racing groups will have all the ammunition they need, because of people like you.

Yes yes yes! we made it our mantra that we search out the best home's we can find, and unfortunately one of our trainers let us down as they advised they had found a great home for one only to have her turn up on facebook a few months later. We had to get the racecourse investigator involved in one incident and that was resolved, but only because they knew we would go to the media....when you're 3K away and trust people you can be vulnerable, however never ever once did we send one to the knacker! I told you in another post, I spent 12 months sending horses to KL and regret it to this day. As soon as I started living up there my mind set changed, knowing what happens to those poor buggers sickens me, I've sent them to be Police horses in VIC, found homes for the rest at huge expense to us as it's not easy paying up for at least 14 horses at one stage, or it wasn't back in the day, it's tad easier nowadays to find homes for them, thankfully, but syndicators need to be held to account and on all prospects's there should be clear and transparent advice on what their welfare policy is.....I asked a question, if TA has nothing to hide and all syndicators for that matter, Ellis is just one of many, let them be clear with this issue, if they are I will applaud them, ....that's a promise!
-
Nah, your twisting and turning again, it's about TA and we know who pulls the strings there, so what happened to all those slow horses? and what happened to them in the past? and don't shove they go up to KL and race at the Selangor TC, those poor buggers are one run away from the bullet......I want to hear from Fence and Trellis and bought by Dave as to the welfare program, and what return on investment has been returned to share holders en masse... If big Dave or the Fence reads this I'd love to hear from them. As they are the biggest fish in your very small pond they wield a lot of influence, therefore what they do is extremely important.
-
Shall we beat about the ROI bush?.......and what happens to all the TA horses in SING?........or NZ for that matter, shall I go on? I'd like to see their welfare policy up front and personal on their website?

Yep, another lunatic, another asylum.
