None Nomates, the innuendo that surrounds ex jock/stipes is not needed, it's bad enough some trainers nowadays used to be stipes, I've seen some bloody useless stipes in my time, too many to mention, but John Schreck in SYD was one of the best, followed by Ray Murrihy, in MEL John Boyd and Bill Brewer were streets ahead of their boss Pat Lalor, those two earned respect, but by no means did they rely on the old mates network like some//.......hope that helps.

Thank you chief, it's one of the saddest cases I've seen in racing where a small player is bullied by the big boys, Kate is a terrific young lady, she had her career ruined by this event, and in the wash up it could have happened to anyone, RVL has an appalling record, we throw barbs at RIU NZ, however this story makes the NZ RIU look like choir boys. Kate's correct in her scathing overview of racing media in Oz, the majority of the so called journo's that piled on Kate have scurried back to their rat's nests, at least twitter and facebook allowed Kate an outlet, heads have to roll over this, and once Kate gets the outcome she deserves I bet names will be rolled out for all to see.

Yesterday!! when I read the wonderful Kate Goodrich [lady trainer from Seymour/Kilmore] had her day in court and the Judge has ordered her case go to trial!! Meaning RVL and Kilmore Racing Club must now disclose all documents pertaining to her claim. For those of you that have no idea what I'm alluding to, Mr Bernard Saundry was head of RVL at the time of these terrible actions against Kate......please google Kate, and she's on twitter.......one of the worst cases of bullying I've ever seen, and we all hope Kate gets the outcome she wishes for. #gokate

Someone pointed me to another site where a goose is saying there is no room for negativity, we are chronic naysayers and that there is a lot of positivity in NZ racing......I repeat he's a goose, and that's being polite, it's that apathy that's got us to where we are, it's fine for a select few the majority not so much, what a shame we vent our feelings, and if there was a royal commission called, as I've said before, the queue to vent would be a long one and if it was a real commission, heads would roll.......BTW, does NZ have an extradition treaty with OZ/UK......just saying.

MRC got off one day, the owner trainer said, why didn't you put the horse into the gap, MRC ''the gap was going too quick for me''......... kaboom.

The Payne's certainly had their share of grief, their Mum was tragically taken in a car accident and arguably the best rider of them all, Brigid, died of a heart attack, talk about adversity to advantage, this family know all about that, gee Hawera was a great nursery.

And their Mum of course.
