A stable informant informed me his best horse is trialling today? He just won't tell which one.......Bastard. -
2009 AND 2013, Great memories for me, made a business trip coincide with the rugby.....funny that.

Whatever happened to him [Tito] Freda? Tina may know, although Chileans and Argies aren't the best of friends......

Remember the jumpers flat? why couldn't they schedule those, too late now of course, but they run so many maiden highweights in VIC, anythings possible with passion and foresight, they could have saved jumps racing if they had a jumps panel as an advisory board, the AWT, well in France they run jumps racing on their synthetic tracks, anything, anything could have been done with consultation, unfortunately you have no-one with any common sense in charge at Petone, its a rabble and has been for some time, not one of them could catch and kill their own, career salary people, Dare to be Different, it pays off in spades, the sad lunacy of racing admin has caused it's own downfall, it's slow and excruciating painful, and it could have been so easily avoided..........

The bloke in the bright suit? he hasn't got a part time job in Jackson St Petone by chance has he?

Funny enough, not yummy...FFS....

I'm very fortunate to have been to Twickenham to watch the AB's play England, we won both times, however, what got me was the silence when the kickers were taking goal kicks, that's respect and good grace, sadly lacking in NZ and Oz, and yummy enough they both got their comeuppance last night....ah, God works in funny ways.

And the rest is history......

NZTR, they will charter if there is enough demand, although the Wahine used to do the run, why not just do a two stopper with the Picton taxi? lovely scenic cruise down the coast, a bit of whale watching, or are they all over here on the coast sun baking? the whales that is, a bit of long lining while having cocktails on deck, start the party early.....all it takes is vision, and of course, you're only limited by your budget and your imagination, Petone has both, in spades...... -

Listen mate, if they all bring a 20lt drum of whitebait I'll send Mrs Bloggs to purgatory for a month, that's all I miss, the whitebait, oh those lovely whitebait fritters........Pam's ok with it all, I've run it past her, all ya need is a flagon of Johnnie Walker Blue and a sleeping bag, but she wants 20% of all prize money.......but you'll get a sachet of AWT to take home, you could always dry it out and smoke it...that what they do on cold Canterbury nights apparently...or they will soon ...... -

And what salaries are these two on? FFS you could offer half that and if you looked hard enough there'd be a few wino's in bus shelters that could step up and do a better job......FFS......WTF is going on, well we know what's going on don't we, you nailed it in your post, but there are more than a few that don't want change, ones's as old as God's dog and will move heaven and earth to curtail any change, sadly private agendas rule. But only if you have friends in high places......an oldie, but a goodie.... -

Gotta luv that, the poor man's sunny coast, well to be frank, the sunny coast has so many kiwi accents it's impossible to get homesick, that and South African accents, it's truly the Costa del Bolto now, more expats than homegrown, room for plenty more but the fish and chips aren't as good, but the beer's colder........beaudy...... -

Tellyawhat, why not transfer the Woodville/Trentham meeting to Riccarton? and do it now? give them a taste of what real racing is all about, subsidise the horses, throw in some real accommodation for owners trainers, bring along the CD riders that can sit on.....Parks and Allpress, Destination Canterbury could stump up, make it an expo, fancy dress on Fri night, Cantabs come as you are.......huge Calcutta and huge discounted liquor.......savoury saveloys and party pies and then everyone back to Pam's place for poker and blackjack, and those that can't make it back to their subsidised accommodation can crash on Pams sofa, floor, feed room.......but no pissing on the stable bedding, or any bedding for that matter, now if this doesn't make sense you're all arseholes with no view to the future, cos this is how we did it in the past, eh Nomates? and loved every bit of it.....ye haaaaa -
On an AWT? Feature meetings? you have to be kidding? So I'm assuming black type on AW........that needs it's own category in the studbook then, and in NZB catalogues, it brings a whole new dimension to racing NZ style,....ye ha......

If it goes to litigation my money is on G Vile, unless there is an underlaying issue that surfaces and at this stage we have no idea of any such possibility. You only have to look at Goodrich v RVL, HQ moved Heaven and Earth to bring and sustain charges against Kate Goodrich, it almost broke her, financially and emotionally, she survived, thankfully, and God alone knows what her legal bill would have been had RVL succeeded. Gary will need to have an excellent legal team and argument as sure as hell those that are against him will have a war chest of considerable size and Gary may need 'help' in funding his defence/argument. That's why the Trainers Association is derelict in it's duty of care toward Gary, as I've said many times, if you had a Royal Commission into racing and breeding in NZ all hell would break loose, dirty laundry be damned, I bet under oath the exposes would be mind boggling, I would love to see it, in my lifetime it's improbable, not impossible but for obvious reasons it would be stymied, sadly.
-
I see you are banging your head on the other channel NM, there are some thick dicks out there, until Mr Vile is found guilty of something worth being kicked out of Awapuni, then it's their duty to go into bat for him.......what a useless collective of bones and marrow [or lack of] that association mob is......
-
Saundry mentioned again, you'd think he would go quietly, Kate Goodrich is waiting in Vic for her day in court, keep your head down Bernard, not long now ........

Riddle me this, are/will trainers reduce their training fees if your horse/s can only handle the AWT and is useless on grass, reasoning, on the AWT you are racing for K12, correct.........that just doesn't make sense commercially, lets say your trainer is based in Cambridge and you're paying 85++ a day, some are dearer than that of course, why would you be paying that to race for peanuts? the photo on the wall is great, but it doesn't make commercial sense, that is of course if the trainer is up front and you can see for yourself that your neddy is never going to salute the judge on the green stuff.....oh, but he loves the AWT, a few more trials, just a few and you'll see the turnaround, woopy doo......bring it on........massive trial fields up in Wankato, gazillions of happy owners, SI not so much I'm guessing......
