Oh my God, you're not the Chief Stipe, you're the Messiah!........FFS, now I feel I wasted all my trips to Museums and in the case of Maori migration from the northern islands of Tahiti, to Easter Island and beyond, I'll let the curator of the South Pacific studies in Santiago know they are wrong....thank you for you setting us straight oh great one......

The Australian indigenous peoples spoke 250 different dialects when the first fleet arrived, now it's 120.......when you see the cave paintings that go back 100 thousands of years, it makes the hairs on your neck stand, how the Maori navigated by the stars? unbelievable, if you ever get the chance, you should visit the South Pacific Museum in Santiago Chile, the display and description of Maori migration will make you dizzy, nothing in NZ comes close.

Whoa, I didnt call you out as a racist, racism stinks, that's what I said, anyone, anyone who thinks they are better than anyone else because of race or colour is a racist..........FFS,.......it's good to have debate on anything, that's healthy, but what's divisive is, not acknowledging the correct pronunciation of a name, or names, I do my best to pronounce Aboriginal names the way an indigenous person does, I dont always get it right the first time, but I work on it.......that's respect.

Many years ago I wrote to Sky Channel here in Oz to complain about the mispronunciation of Maori names, I pointed out how hard must it be to school up considering we are ANZACS........and so many NZ names are Maori. I finished my apprenticeship in Otaki, 50 years ago, I lived there for a year, it was a different place, a different era, my Uncle who served two years as a POW in Germany during WW2 returned to NZ and married a Maori girl from Otaki, Kohi Baker a direct descendent of Te Rauparaha, so she was 'Royalty' so to speak, my cousins pronounced Otaki different to us Pakeha's, so did all the old Maori, but never once did they chastise us, they were tolerant and polite, the local Pub was just brilliant and we had a pool comp that was Maori v Pakeha, and we all would have died for each other. It was a different world the NZ I knew, never forget the Maori Battalion, who bought us that beautiful soulful goodbye song ''Now is the hour'' the British Lions used to sing that along with the crowds at the final test of their tour before departing back to the UK and NI........and Lest We Forget, look at the recent All Black teams, where on earth would NZ Rugby be without the Maori and Pacific Islanders?.........Here on the Gold Coast our NRL team has a captain of Pacific Island origin, the announcers on our local FM radio station all pronounce his very difficult name correctly, .Racism stinks, all it takes is respect, to foster a better world we need respect, there, I've said it, it remains 'said'......

Mike, just to bring you up to speed, NZTR and TAB are secret societies, a bit like the Masonic Club, The Masons......you know, a special handshake, and talking in code.......what's not a secret, the ineptitude, the hopelessness, the lack of care and accountability, and the ability to make wild guesses. The funs gone, fun, the quintessential factor essential for racings survival, cos tis but a fleeting thing, fun.

How do they sleep nights? -
Well I've got no show of having 2 runners Karaka night, nor 1, but I know someone who has, lucky bastard, no, I'll rephrase that, not lucky at all, just a chancer, a risk taker, so good luck to him, I hope the dice rolls.......the right way.

You should come to a race day here on the 'Goldie' Turny, every Sat, and some midweeks, the bars are full, the restaurants booked out weeks in advance, and, when it rains, and it does, tropical rain of course, the meeting is abandoned, we still have a ''phantom' meeting, good turnouts still and plenty of food and beer at reasonable prices........races coming through from all over AUS, bookies ring pumping, ....and that's in winter!.......bring on those 30 degree days, Hawaiian shirts, Okanui's, [board shorts] thongs,[jandals] and a thirst and appetite......for good racing. You're always welcome here you good buggers!

The MCG was only half full for Demons v Lions last night, WTF is going on? Are people saving for the coming recession?

Just watched the first from Tarzino day Hastings, the grandstand is not so grand, no one there, is there something else on in Hastings? A Bunnings sausage sizzle perhaps? Not a good look for Gr1 day, the new CEO might have his work cut out, may have to bring back that icon Butch, he'll have them flocking through the turnstiles.....

In one country on the other side of the world if you released bullshit like this they'd take you out the back and you'd face a firing squad, hows that saying go? ''You can fool some of the people some of the time.........? -
That'll work!......the worlds most picturesque racecourse Chantilly near Paris is surrounded by beautifully restored iconic buildings, some now house boutique 5* hotels and restaurants, you are only limited by your budget and your imagination, in which case the pale, stale ageing males of the CJC need a boot up the arse and a hosing down on a cold Canterbury morning, get out and raise the money needed, make Riccarton great again......opps sorry that's Trumpsters go to.....but you know what I mean.......I'm with you Billy.

Are the A/W's already becoming a white elephant ???

Strangely narcissists seek refuge on racing forums, for whatever reason, which is sad in itself, as we racing buffs have enough to contend with without height deprived angry little men trying to destroy our day/s. Comic dog is a hypocrite, he finally met someone with the same IQ as himself in TM........it's kinda funny watching them publicly spat, Freda could buy and sell them both in the integrity stakes, the Viaduct Viper included.......so lets sit back and enjoy the action, and Bullet Bet has odds of 1-2 that the thread will be axed shortly. -

I've known plenty of lucky buggers that were complete fuckwits KITK.......plenty, eventually though, their luck ran out, some suffered dementia and some ill health, whilst I wouldn't wish that on anyone, well, almost anyone, this fella overstepped the mark, subsequently will have to wear the fuckwit label for some time, probably until an apology is forthcoming, will that happen? I hope so. -
