  1. Chief, surely if Averos Spitfire hit a wheel, then Mark Hurrell wouldve said to Stipes that it hit a wheel? The Stewards report wouldve then stated that the horse over reached and hit the sulky wheel in front? I just think he is proned to doing things wrong and punters are stupid to be backing it!
  2. I couldnt see the horse touch the horse in front at all! I believe the horse did gallop free of interference as it has previously! Too hard to see if it hit a wheel, but clearly it didnt, so just galloped for the sheer hell of it!
  3. Shit, wish I was nowadays. Just Cant get enough on, so going to be a quiet year. Sit back and watch what happens with events!
  4. Forbury, no one could call you or Retard boring! Matty Williamson gets plenty of drives and Johnny Morrison also is very well looked after by owners and trainers for drives!
  5. That trot race 9 was the weirdest finish to any race I have ever seen. All the first few turning for gome galloped and others went out in sympathy, and Heenan and Telfer first and second! Lol Who wouldve thought?
  6. Just shows you why we shouldnt be having mile racing! It is so unpredictable and you can not follow form! Mile racing should be banned!!
  7. Of course I can’t read, I’m spastic! Why were you solely picking on the South Island drivers??
  8. Blossom, why did it gallop. The only reason that was possible is it touched a sulky wheel as it didnt seem to touch the driver in front! You would think that with its experience it wouldnt be galloping free of interference. Time for it to have a change of career
  9. To be fair though, Serena Williams has been a big winner and is still earning big money. Averos Spitfire is just a horse that has never son apart from trials, where they dont seem to be that financially beneficial to the owners! Yes the horse is showing more than it did 6 months ago, but it is a 7 year old gelding with one placing to its name in nearly 60 starts! Why would you bother persevering with a very limited horse with no upside. I hope it does win a race for the new owners and I hope they enjoy racing the horse, that has not given the previous owners any return.
  10. Think he would be better with a trail than leading over 2400m. Why people bothered with him previously for over 50 starts without placing is puzzling, and he had no show of ever winning a race the way he was racing! With Hoffman training on the beach, if he drew well and trailed all the way at Forbury or down South, he could have a chance to win a weak race, however why would you bother?
  11. Spitfire was turned out looking better than it has been previously. It seems to gallop for no reason at times, recently! Yes it seemed to be going easily when it galloped but whether it has the heart to win a race is still questionable, however today was chance another chapter in the Averos Spitfire saga! With new owners now, the horses racing life has probably been extended by a bit. You would still have to be a mug punter to have backed it at those odds, even though the field was weak as hell.
  12. I was thinking if anyone Brad would be ok! George Clooney far too old looking nowadays!
  13. Why would Brodie need an actor to play my role? National Party no hopers? Seriously, labour has not one semi competent decent one amongst them!
  14. They are all from the South Island, Retard! Has the North Island got no good or bad drivers?
  15. Good on Hurrell for advising us that The Spitfire is going that well that he is his best chance of the day! He is now probably good enough to win them in a row now. Should we take it in a quinella with another Aveross drawn outside Spitfire in Averos Shadow? He is a 21 start unplaced maiden so it is on its way as well! Good luck to the new owners and Hurrell and Hoffman, surely this is the last roll of the dice????
  16. Spittie, has had a change of owner as well. Owned by a couple of syndicates and a couple of individuals as well! They clearly see the potential in a 56 start, for one place horse, and must think it could be a gold mine. Good on them if they can get a win out of it, wouldve gone for big money you would think? Did Faulks, O’Connell and Negus finally say, enough is enough? Amber Hauffman is a good trainer on the beach, so maybe she can create a miracle and get the result the new owners desire? You would have to be a fruit loop to be backing it to win at such pathetic odds!
  17. HaHaHAHaHaHa!!!! The accountants opened it up at $4.20 and someone has put $20 to win on it!!! They have it so short after leading all the way and beating 2 unqualifieds????? The horse that finished second was going a helluva lot better than Spitfire as it wasnt even hooked out! Kt would be great if he could win a race, and yes the field is not that flash! However, the accountants are taking the piss seriously, if they think that winning a qualifying trial beating 2 others makes it a $4.20 favourite after 56 starts!!!!!
  18. Just tired i think! At least she trotted the whole way, may have turned the corner
  19. Mile stands! Yeah nah! Matt Cross says might be the way to go! Lol Why do they bother, mobile miles are bad enough but make Them stands??
  20. Yeah having trouble getting her back to her best
  21. Once again they have tried to sneak it under the rug as if BOAY posters are blind. It galloped too far we all know that.
  22. You certainly haven’t restrained in expressing an opinion Forbury! Lol
  23. Personally believe it galloped well over 150 metres from warching Trackside replays. The fact is the Stewards report says nothing at all about distance it has galloped, shows that they are trying to hide that tney have stuffed up again. They should be able to tell us exactly how many metres the horse galloped for,,I say well over 150metres so should have been disqualified without doubt! Do I think that it is another wrong decision by the racing officialdom? Of course it is, but they continue to come and do not think they are going to come right unless they have a cleanout! Peter Lamb is still starting races in the South Island, just shows us all how incompetent or lacking integrity, the RIU unit is!
  24. Can someone please explain the current rule for galloping trotters at the beginning of a race??? I thought I knew what it was, until last night! Call Me Trouble clearly put up a fantastic performance to win the last race at Cambridge last night! However, it is very surprising that it was allowed to retain its first position as it galloped for the first 200 metres by the look of it on Trackside. The Stewards report about it was extremely brief and was not forthcoming as to why it was allowed to retain its position and not be disqualified! The Racing Integrity Unit seriously should change its name! Do not get Brodie wrong, it was the best horse by far on its performance, however does that mean it shouldnt have to comply with the harness NZ rules? Does anyone know why it was not disqualified??

Interesting! Probably makes more sense due to foaling timing!
