The site that bans the intelligent posters? When has the CEO from the TAB answered questions on there? If he is forthcoming with answers, then why is he not answering questions on the Premiere Harness Racing Site, Bit Of A Yarn? Because that is where the questions that they dont want to answer appear! None of this GoooooBooooooyYeeeeeHaaaa go the AllStars BS!!!!!
-
Please enlighten us on what the forum is that we can ask a question and have it answered by the CEO of the TAB????????? I have some questions for him!
-
How do they test the drivers for alcohol consumption do we know? Is it the same breathalyser that the Cops use? Who actually does the testing? What is the limit they use or is it Zero tolerance?
-
I have got a major gambling problem as well Gamma! Just can not get a decent bet on!
-
Blair would drive a helluva lot better well over the limit than most of the drivers anyway! must've been a bigSaturday night session to be over the next Morning!
-
“Groundhog Day”, “Bit Slow” not on your nelly Roman. Been out and about this arvo enjoying the weather and helping people make financial decisions! So, havent caught up with any of the new postings but no new topic re Blair going missing! More to life than watching racing at The Mot. when you cant get enough money on to make it worth having a go! Far easier ways at the moment to clean up!
-
Blair was nowhere to be seen today at the Mot! He had accepted for drives and punters wouldve backed him on various horses, on the Fixed Odds! Does anyone know what the reason for his non driving today was??
-
Basil, you support the right for the NZ TAB to treat punters with preferential treatment over others!! Gambling is a business that the NZ TAB should be treating everyone the same as they all have the same opportunity!!! To trade as a gambling business and putting up odds and then not accepting them from some people and giving the same odds to other people is blatantly just plain BS!!! Reality is that they are an outfit that is operated very poorly! They should be encouraging punting and not turning business away. The more they take on the more profit they will make overall. To offer odds and then only allow people on for amounts of less than $100 is just crap!,,
-
Come on Ranga, this is a family show, no need for too much smut on BOAY!!
-
Can we ask why BGP get preferential treatment? Yes they wager a lot of money, and that is all that the restricted punters want the opportunity to do the same! But no, you are only allowed to put on pathetic amounts! Could someone from the TAB please come on BOAY, and advise us why they get the special treatment????
-
I repeat Ranga, Brodie is always in his prime! As for a perm, not much chance of that, but bell bottoms was the go!
-
WTF were you trying to do on Silk???? If I was Ivan Court, you wouldnt get another drive from me!! Why would you want to kill your horse when you were inferior to just about every other horse in the race??? You deserve a holiday from the RIU if there is any integrity! Sorry to say Robbie but that was a SHOCKER, and you certainly didnt drive the horse to to give it any show whatsoever! You mustve had a brain fart to go out so fast without pulling back for a trail, what on earth were you thinking??????
-
Chief, apparently according to Basil and a couple of others it is perfectly OK in their eyes!!! I say BS, the NZ TAB is a betting agency and yes they make the rules!! However, I have never been able to see how it is possibly not in breach of some ACT, to be able to show preference to some people over others!!!! If the NZ TAB want to have betting limits or restrictions then they should be on everyone whether they are winning punters or losing punters!!! The TAB does not play fair and I hope one day that they get severely fined for their unfair practices!!!!!!!!
-
I saw that too, Chief. The truth is that the NZ TAB treat punters differently! There are so many instances of this! Some on here will defend them and say that it is business and they are allowed to do this! I say just because they do it, doesnt mean it is right!
-
Dennis O’Connell? Alexy having start 300!
-
Well aware what he wrote, but is the North Island being left out for any reason? You are not allowed to treat Islands differently, just like you are not legally allowed to treat punters differently!!
-
I would say a candidate for something else, but then Basil may report me to SAFE!
-
Chief, if you backed it, I would say you were a problem gambler!
-
Shad, I wasnt surprised that it kept its first place, going by the strange current rules. I think you can gallop for the last 49 metres and if you arent lapped on, then you will retain your position!,, The decision last week at Cambridge was the bigger one, where the winner galloped for 200m and retained its winning spot. Some of the rules and decisions are somewhat suspect.
-
Correct Karrots! The Spitfire although from the number of starts it has had, you would think would have ring craft even though lacking ability! Still believe it galloped free of interference at Ashburton, and hopefully the current owners only leased the horse! Still can not see why they are bothering when other trainers have now got the stitch! Retire the damn thing so we can finish with this thread!!
-
-
They are certainly going to be a big loss to the Otago/Southland region racing wise. They brought in a lot of new owners and Geoff was a real enthusiast!
-
Why have they retired from training? No money in it?
-
Chief, what do you think it shows? Think it started to get a bit keen and put in a rough one like it has before. I believe the Stipes wouldve asked Hurrell why it galloped and he clearly didnt advise the stewards that it hit a wheel. If it hit a wheel then it is surprising we dont have a helluva lot more breakers in a field than what we get! The horse may be very experienced but is still not that tractable!
-
The horse has to trial satisfactorily before racing again Gamalite. If the Spitfire hadve struck a sulky wheel it may not have had to trial as it had a legit reason for the gallop. No one can say whether The Spitfire hit a wheel apart from The Spitfire himself. The jury must remain out whether there was any contact to cause it to gallop, my unbiased opinion is that it didnt as it has done it before lol
