  1. The joining of training with Mark Jones and Brendan Hill is going to be very interesting. Does Regan Todd remain in the mix with Mark Jones? Maybe it means that Mark is going to be spending most of his time in Oz!
  2. Well it will if they come down hard on him!,
  3. Had he had a few by the time he had his speech? We all know that the RIU aren’t overly liked, but geez saying it in front of everyone probably not the best career move!
  4. What did he actually say? Was it regarding Inca?
  5. You are correct Flag. So many standing start races have the unruly runners 20metres back from the frontline. Pushing shite uphill from there.
  6. Fair enough but had little chance in that field CP. Who would’ve been backing it in that field and knowing that it would more than likely gallop? It will probably win at some stage but seriously had little chance today.
  7. Must think it has a head start! Why would you line it up in a winners race rather than a maiden? be pretty certain to gallop around the first bend as it often finds horses out!
  8. Happy, moons way shortened in from 71 to 41 but it wouldn’t take much to do this with the Bookies. can it win? Yes, if it started now! 90% chance of galloping.
  9. Whiteman, wouldn’t say I was off the mark! I am aware that the AllStars have had very good trotters before but you would have to say that they have preferred to plunder the stakes in pacing races! Of course Icandoosit was pretty much a champion but the fact is that it appears that they are now looking to buy up the very best of the young trotters if they are available. Oscar and Enhance the Calm were clearly the 2 best 2 year old trotters and they bought them both. Hopefully they will leave some decent stakemoney for the other trainers!
  10. I bet they wished they had taken the million now!
  11. Newmarket totally correct. Wanted the other one to win by the look of it. Had he shown more vigour earlier would’ve clearly won!!
  12. Thanks for the new name Ranga, not your best work thought, Na, don’t know where he is at the moment. Can hardly wait to watch him as well lol
  13. Yeah Sundee Sun should’ve won and it was beaten when it galloped. Phenomenal run by Oscar Bonavena and the fact that the AllStars are now buying up the best young trotters is not great news for the trotting owners and trainers as they will be running for the scraps as with the pacers.
  14. He trotted pretty rough early, then galloped going around the first bend. He was far too short against that field. Theodosia the winner had been going well.
  15. Great, hope you take plenty off the Bookies! TAB. Needs punters offloading,
  16. It’s all good CP. Haven’t had an investment for over 2 months now since the TAB put me as a potential money launderer! Not really missing it either as it just not worth the effort as everything is now in the favour of the TAB. Premier nights I don’t like as too many short priced favourites and backing outside of them I class as gambling! I am sure some people will make money but as a betting platform I have never liked Premier type meetings when there is plenty of form. Give me a maiden any day.
  17. It is an interesting night of racing tonight. Too much form and short odds to be able to make money tonight. Good luck to the ones that have a go and the money launderers!
  18. To be fair Retarded Driver is a wee bit funny with his comments re retarded drivers. On Tuesday he said that he had retired from commenting and 2 days later he is back. Lol. No one should take offence to his comments!
  19. The problem is that there is no anonymity with this TAB control. Win several times and you are restricted and controlled as to how much you can bet! Total control of all punters is what they now have!! Punters will desert the NZ TAB.
  20. Carry on the way they are and there will be no sand left in the pit!
  21. No, not my brother, half brother, step brother or religious brother! He was refused betting by the TAB for a few things and if He did do,the things he was accused of, I have no problem with that! I do have a problem with the TAB refusing or restricting punters due to the fact that they dont like punters that like to win!!!
  22. I don’t believe that the AllStars horses do go that well on the grass compared to the Allweather. Due to the fact that grass is a great leveller and far slower than the allweather obviously. Often when the grass track racing is on also, the 2 in charge at the AllStars stables are overseas , and horses are not getting the same treatment!!
  23. Sounds like a good idea, send all of them to the N.I.
  24. Sorry but how can any business continue when there have been too many mistakes made? An $80 million loss is unbelievable really. Not sure where the money for the stakes are gong to come from for Auckland? The Auckland apartment has been a total eff up from basically when it started and how on earth could you possibly stuff up so badly in Auckland market? Eventually there are going to so few trainers in the North that they will not be able to hold races. You have got your head in the sand if you believe that Auckland can get out of this shambles!
  25. Happy, think it is a great idea to have fixed odds out early, so that it encourages punters to have a go if they see any value. Earlier the better I would say, if you are a punter. I am sure they are going to be hard to pick tomorrow as it is the first grass track meeting. Good luck to those that are having a go.
