Firstly, hypocrite maybe, I will take that on board. I realise that I am in the minority here by a big way, but Brodie always sticks up for what he thinks is fair, as you well know. I am not going to say that I am wrrrrrrrrrrrooonnnng, because I have difficulty saying that word. I am definitely just trying to wait and see if these so-called offences that many of our harness racing elite have actually occurred. I will never put the boot into anyone when nothing has been proven!! Anyway, not going to,say much more until the charges are known better!

Where have I ever said that there has not been any shenanigans or undesired actions by some people??? What is blatantly wrong in my unbiased world is most on this site are happy to just put the boot into all and sundry that have been charged! Yes I am sure the police have got evidence Etc. And where there is smoke there is normally fire. I am certainly not apologising for any of the people that have been charged, and it is a very bad look for harness. I appreciate Brodie is just about on his own on here at the moment, which is not a worry for me. However, the people that have been charged whether they are guilty or not, do not need all the harness racing supporters, enthusiasts etc. kicking them in the guts while they are down. If a family member of yours had been charged for something, would you appreciate it if all your neighbours were telling you what a lowlife your family member was??? Doubt it! We should sit back and see what eventuates as there is so much talk going on at the moment and harness racing is going to self destruct if we carry on like this!!! Yes I know I will get it double barrels from posters who are without sin (I am highly religious) lol

Doesn’t worry me one iota Kakama. I am not saying that shite hasn’t happened, all I am saying is that too many are wanting to put the boot into the charged before they are even tried in a court of law. Brodie stands for fairness and always will.

Belle, thanks for the flattery, much appreciated. Blowing my trumpet, sorry not enough air, opionated yes, stubborn, yes and on the money, yes. They must have a helluva lot of evidence then Belle!, Prima Facie evidence! I am sure they do but remember there are a lot of people found guilty when they are not. Look I appreciate it is not a great look, however too many just want to put the boot into the charged people that have been providing the industry with support!

Andrew Stuart is not the trainer or driver of 2of those horses! How can he fix a race himself? I don’t know, wasn’t there and hopefully you weren’t either! No use conjecturing at the moment it will come out over the next 6 months

I don’t personally care if you think I am stupid or not, I just don’t think that Mr Stuart can be fixing any race if he is not the trainer or driver. As for the 1k it is hardly STUARTGATE is it? From these raids it seemed that it was some big fixing ring but it Doesn’t now.

You have to be kidding don’t you? Andrew been charged 3 times for returns of about 1k each time????? What an absolute waste of time if this is what is going to be a typical exampl e of this so-called race fixing. How on earth can Andrew Stuart be found guilty of race fixing on 2 of Mark Jones Horses when he isn’t driving or training them? If this is a typical example then it is going to be a circus seriously. I know it is early days but really 1k each time hardly STUARTGATE!!!!!!

Why do we think that there are going to be a lot more to come? Surely they would’ve talked questioned anyone of interest by now and been charged? There is possibly one or two more but can’t see more or they would’ve been charged!

If some of people charged are found not guilty, then clearly they will be entitled to compensation for loss of income and for defamation! Interesting day tomorrow but no doubt it will drag on and on! Our justice system is overloaded because of the time wasting and this is only to the benefit of lawyers etc.

Garrick Knight is a journalist who is normally on the money like Brodie. Not afraid to take on the establishment either. Hopefully he will continue to post on here as he is full of knowledge and fair I beleive.

In its heyday The Press was very good with harness racing most days. I appreciate that most people just use the Internet nowadays, however there is always a human interest feelgood story around that could be written, maybe just not this week unfortunately.

The media nowadays hardly ever gives harness racing any good coverage at all! They are only wanting to publish the garbage that they can dig up and what they want to make a story. The Bronson Munro example was very unfair The Press nowadays has buggerall on harness worth reading anyway! Chief, you are correct! If you know that the media is turning up to your event just to dig up the shite, then why would you. If you were having a party, would you allow the local gang to walk in? No you wouldn’t because you know there will be trouble, so same thing!

To be fair The Big Don has got some reasonable ideas! Where have I said that nothing has been going on? I just beleive that too many people just want to put the boot in to people when they are obviously down. Look, I know what it is like to have the boot put into me when the TAB starting putting betting restrictions on me! Some people may not know that though!!!!!
