Ok so they dropped 100k on the last race of the KPC comp!, That is a once a year thing where punters obviously offloaded larger than normal amounts in the hope of winning the big prize so quoting that is irrelevant!,, If they are Bookmakers then they should be Bookmakers and not just toying with it! They are turning punters off big time with their odds and unless they alter things it is going to be a downward spiral for them! They need punters and should take the good with the bad and if they turn off the current punters then the next generation will not be bothering!, Obviously I have no influence over what the NZ TAB does but my right to point out the error of their ways!,, Enjoy your Xmas and New Year Mr Brush!

Yes, they are so wary of harness punters! Not sure how many gallop punters are restricted as I haven’t heard of any! There is no way I would back any horse to win when the odds are short or when there is a Purdon horse in the race and in form like Sicario was! I wouldn’t be able to get that amount on anyway!

Yes , but to announce that they take these bets makes out that they are these marvellous Bookmakers and yet they have got no xxxxx, and don’t give every punter the same opportunity! They continue to offer major unders on too many horses on opening, and they are hardly encouraging punters to offload! They don’t really care about harness punters I am aware of that, as they love sports betting, that is where they make their profits!

Happy, they have $9000 less now! The thing is that they supposedly take these bets from certain punters and announce them on Trackside as such! Where the eff is the fairness when other punters can not get the opportunity to win that amount of money, as every single bet irrespective of what the horse is, Or the type of bet, is restricted to a certain amount! Would be great to know how many harness punters in NZ have restrictions on them??

Another night of extremely exciting harness racing from Alexandra Park and a continuation of the divvies and Fixed Odds returns being worth taking!!!! Someone put $9k on Star Galleria to win at $1.50 against a Purdon horse???????? Not a great bet I would have thought betting that short against Purdon drawn inside him!!!

Odds still as tight as ever and restrictions down to bugger all still in play, and I thought that the TAB were starting to come around!!! No such thing, although luv the Xmas racing but this year wont dominate me like it has previously. TAB show some Xmas cheeer and be more customer friendly and you will achieve better results,

They need to concentrate on harness racing rather than worry about their protege Brodie! They clearly don’t know a helluva lot about who they are abusing as they would not be calling me poor, and I certainly don’t feel old, so it is onwards and upwards for the premier harness racing forum, Bit Of A Yarn! Congaratulations must go out to Chief and Hesi for starting this site from scratch and turning it into the best site in a very quick time! To be fair though the operators of the Darkside forum have made it a damn side easier with their pathetic behaviour towards their previous best contributors, who offered the most! Bit Of A Yarns gain, is the Darkside loss big Time! Yes the Darkside will no doubt comment about this, but then they are infatuated with Brodie as their previous comments clearly show!

The are done and dusted Hesi. The only ones posting on the Darkside now are All Star supporters so clearly they are very closely linked! They can try and take the piss out of Brodie as much as they want, but at the end of the day Brodie is always on the money!

Fair call Rangatira! Brodie is all about fairness as everyone knows! Need something to do as I have quite a bit of spare time on my hands since my restrictions and piss poor odds from the TAB have been brought in! Maybe someone could start a petition wanting “The Brodster” as chief Stipe, and I guarantee I would do an unbelievably great job, certainly far better than what is being achieved at the moment! I note the Darkside has given a full topic to Brodie in regards to a posting on here In Regards to the AllStars domination! Newmarket RC is clearly sexually attracted to me in that for some reason he thinks that I have two Dicks!!!! They also think that Hesi has two dicks as well! Not too sure why they think that but I would settle on one decent one, and leave the fantasising to them!!! Seriously though there site is clearly on the slippery slopes when they are talking about sexual parts to try and stimulate interest!!!

Cichlids, I am not in a position to denigrate each and every Stipe in this country, and yes you obviously have more of a handle on some of these things. Personally not a forum to vent our opinion on these employees as it can be dangerous! What Brodie will always point out is injustices that he sees, and hopefully this will prove things and future decisions! I wouldn’t be guaranteeing that though, as there have been many stipendiary steward decisions that are just blatantly wrong, and these should not be being made by people who are working for an INTEGRITY unit!

Basil, you have clearly come on just to take the piss! you have to be have been drinking all day for you to have written that crap! Mr Yips should’ve been chucked out in 2 minutes! The horse did not complete the distance by running inside the markers, he checked other horses and changed the order of the horses order! Blatant ridiculous decision by Stipes that acted irrationally, and it is not the first time as we all know! You can say what you want Basil as you have some connection with officialdom even though you will deny it! If you haven’t and you beleive what you have said then your thought patterns are seriously misguided!

Basil, great to have you on with your wisdom! Solution Basil is for them to piss off to Australia but that is not going to happen as the Ozzie’s wouldn’t put up with long term! Bitching is allowed on forums Basil if you weren’t aware of it! You may be happy with what is going on but I can tell you now that most aren’t! May not affect you at all Basil, and it certainly doesn’t affect me financially either, but I am majorly concerned for the harness racing industry in the next few years, for the ones that are involved!

Does it really take 3 presenters giving their opinions and wanking on about The AllStars to pick $1.30 winners???? Seriously these Premier meetings are putting punters off harness racing and going on about the one stable race after flippen race is just boring! Auckland Premier Harness is stuffed if all we are going to get is these under$2 winners race after race, and there won’t be horses racing against the AllStars! This domination from one stable plundering the major stake money is doing massive damage to harness racing in NZ unlike anything else. You can have your head in the sand and be saying that it is great to watch good horses but if this continues there will not be enough horses around to race in a few years! Ask punters what they think of this domination and most will tell you that they have given up punting on these types of meetings.

Greg basically was sick of Michael Guerin booking on!! Personally not sure how paying for 3 Trackside presenters is money well spent! Michael Guerin wanking on about the AllStars all night is downright boring and when they pay $1.30 to win, it is mind numbing and a waster of time!

Yankiwi,, no the Stipes were not right at all!, Yes they made a decision that to anyone with any level of intelligence could see was the wrong one! How on earth can anyone now have confidence in the Stipes in the future? It was an absolute shocker and there are many others as well which have been clearly evident as well! Mr Ydgren O.G. ten appears on Trackside waffling on about horses due to race about whether they in season or different tactics etc. which is fine, but I would prefer that he could make intelligent decisions and Mr Ydgren an co. Did not last night. You just can’t defend incompetence!
