I am the same as Galah nowadays with fixed odds, one or two bets seems to be the go. I will only have a go now if the odds are reasonable even though I will like several at a meeting! If they are paying under $2 for a place I wont waste my time. Rougher the race the better is the way to make money and if you do your homework you should consistently head them off!! The biggest problem is that generally the Bookies/Accountants open the odds too low and dont lengthen them out early enough. I can see a few that could be worth a crack on Sunday providing the track isnt wet, as that throws form out the window!

They are saying that the ones in hospital are a third covid, a third the flu and the other third other things! The fact that they say that 96% or so were jabbed with the shite and yet people are still hospitalised from covid shows that the jabs were useless. The people hospitalised with flu so early in Winter is because the jabbed immunity has been compromised. The other third has alot to do with the jabbed now having adverse effects from Pfizer. Since when has a vaccine need to be used 4 times in one year plus the flu jab??? The citizens of NZ have been constantly lied to and unfortunately they have found so many very gullible people who believe in the lightweights BS, Wake up , you have been conned! Do the research( and I do not mean listening to the NZ media who are controlled by what they have to say. The ones who are catching and passing the flu on are the jabbed mostly. The non poisoned ones that I know that have tested positive, have next to no symptoms, and the jabbed have far more and worse. Problem is that immunity compromised will have the more issues unfortunately. On the news tonight people who now had the flu are saying that their symptoms are worse than the covid they had, so go figure! Covid19 was so overreacted to by Ardern and co and unfortunately the consequences for many both medically and financially is going to be massive! The chickens are going to come home to roost for those that voted the incompetents back in!!! Sad but true!

Blackie, do not condone excess use of the whip, and drivers should be fined/ suspended big time if they are overly agressive. However the whip rule we had decades ago was acceptable and there didnt seem to be any issues. The whip rules they nave adopted over the past many years ks just blatantly stupid and needs changing! Never been a harness driver obviously, but time and time again drivers are so busy fiddling around trying to find the whip in the sheet and then pulling the plugs and it is far too late to make mjch difference! Defies logic not having the whip in your hand by the quarter ready to pull the plugs when time is right. Continually you see drivers run out of room cos they have buggered around and lose their compass as where they are!!

In so many harness races, I see drivers getting the whip out and then pulling the deafeners at about the 100 metre mark! Seems to me to be far too late to be mucking around trying to find the whip and then letting the horse be able to hear. Seen it so many times and as a punter would prefer my driver to be far more organised! Surely better to have the whip in their hand by the 400 metres?

Walt, yes it is very concerning for most people! Many people will not now have enough to use their KiwiSaver as a deposit especially in the overpriced markets! The U.S. have just increased their interest rates that affects NZ majorly. The problem is that the leaders of the worlds countries are being led by the most incompetent types we have ever had. The U.S was going well under Trump and yet they allowed the election fraud to occur and a stupid geriatric who should be in a retirement home to be president ffs! Here in NEW ZEALAND enough stupid people reelected the most incompetent lot back into power.
