If she is not stood down for a few months then it is just crazy. What part of not able to pace a full race do the connections not get? She really should be turned out or just retired as she has got gait issues for some reason? Yeah no reason again for the gallop so Stipes do not just send her to the trials again as you are wasting your time!

They basically were 3 horse trials as half of them galloped and only left 3 in it

A 3 horse trial doe not really show that it has got over galloping! Not sure how many times in a row Bensons Mate has galloped in a race, but doubt it would be 90%? One of the priorities of The Stipes job I would have thought was to keep racing SAFE? How on earth is allowing a perennial galloping non winner gallop being acceptable? Maybe Gerard O’Reilly may be the answer but if it does gallop tonight, it should be barred from tote racing for a lengthy stint!

Yeah I am sure a trainer can have their horse put on the unruly Chief! Reality is that this Lizzie Richter hasnt just galloped a few times in its races, it is basically every start!!! Last start it galloped 3 times during the running and it gets a WARNING, and this is after it had galloped in 8 of its previous 9 starts that shows????? Think it has had more than preferential treatment! It has got a bit of ability but until it knows how to pace a full race then it should be banned surely?

NAh wouldnt risk backing a dog of a pacer like that as kt will gallop at any stage! Regan Todd could not even sort it out at the beach so that is aying something! Not galloping at a couple of small trial races is nothing spectacular and certainly shouldnt be in the draw! Seriously the Stiles continue to make pathetic decisions in regards to racing! Really hard to fathom how bad a horse has to be to be banned!!!!

The problem with Lizzie Richter is that there is absolutely no pattern to her gallops! She can gallop at any stage of a race and is just so unpredictable. I see Terry Chmiel has given the reins to Gerard O’Reilly, so lucky him. The horse has clearly got some level of ability, but seriously as Davis states, what on earth are the STIPES doing allowing this horse to gallop in basically every start???

Lizzie Richter is lining up at Addington Thursday night, drawn one behind the gate! Would on the face of it be very dangerous wouldnt it? This mare has been a perennial galloper since it started racing and no sign of it getting any better!!! Just reading the race performance information shows that out of its last 10 starts it has broken gait in 9 of them! Yet the stipes are allowing it to be in the draw???? So we have one of the worst gaited horses drawing one, so this could be a recipe for disaster with the likelihood of it having a gallop or two during the race, as it does gallop at different stages of its races! Interest decision to let it still race with no improvement to its racing habits!

Ranga, certainly no real profit in it with both of the winners paid buggerall, and The last one was lucky to deadheat as the photo I saw had the Grant Payne horse with a small advantage lol. Anyway I was 2 from 2 and far more profitable today!

You are buying money backing a $2 horse on a grass track. Yes it had been racing against far better fields than what it met today, but $2.10 was poor value. Punters that spend their $ on that sort of odds are going to be an asset to the NZ TAB!

Chief, it seems that you are blaming the whole incident on Ms. Wakelin? The current rule where you can bowl a horse and keep your placing no questions asked is blatantly WRONG! How many enquiries now have we had where a horse checks another and it is relegated or disqualified? Can not remember too many or any. I know that Blair Orange is a great horseman and a supporter of his as you probably are aware of! However in a big stake race Blair made a gap for his horse by contacting another and caused a tightening that was the reason for Ready I am to be euthanised! What the Stipes do today is pretty insignificant nowadays compared to what they should be doing! It is all about the dollar a d not about fairness!

Chief, do not knowwhat the exact rule said but I do know the siren wouldve gone! I believe that Petronella Gee would been out! It is blatantly stupid that you can carve up a horse and no enquiry whatsoever! The driver can be suspended and fined for cheating or driving recklessly and yet no enquiry?? Just dumb rule like the current and previous whip rule! What is the current job of the stipes? To tell us what we can all see?.

Decades ago they wouldve had an enquiry and It wouldve been ousted!!! They dont like enquiries as they take up time and involves work! We couldnt possibly have that? Petronella Gee would not have won if it hadnt barged thru the non existent gap! What the stipes are saying is that it is ok to break the rules and it doesnt actually affect the race result!

Sorry but not that funny for Philippa Wakelin who is an enthusiast that lost her horse due to this! We can not have any confidence if this is the best that they can do! Blair is an extremely talented horseman and harness racing can ve a very dangerous sport for the participants. By allowing the drivers to become reckless in a race at all costs is just not good enough and yet no ENQUIRY?????? Go figure, the STIPES are not performing!

Does anyone know who is setting the odds for harness racing at the moment? There seems to be quite a few nowadays including today at Motukarara that have opened at well under what they should be! Probably end up with egg on my face but examples are 1. Slainte. $6 2. Whakarehu $2.70? 11. Artatac $2.10?? Slainte won a trial at Ashburton allweather only 3 in it and used to gallop down south. Where there is smoke as they say but drawn one on the grass! Whakarehu? What has it done to be so short, apart from Blair in the cart? Artatac. $2.10 seriously? Been going poor and it is $2.10? There are a few that are good chances that are at good odds so is anyone prepared to back the above at those odds?

Blair tried to take a gap that wasnt there to shat I can see, forcing the tiring Prince Teka inwards. Yes There was the Townley galloping horse, but it was the fact that Prince Teka was barged down that Ready I am ran out of room. Not even a damn enquiry into the incident makes it a farce! Racing Integrity, load of BS!!

Would like to see the head on of what happened in the last 100 metres!! From the replay it clearly appears that Blair took a gap that was not there! If this is the case how ln earth is there not an enquiry into what happened and the winner ousted???? The interference rules needs a total overhaul and years ago Petronelli Gee would have been put out! The fact that there were checked horses shouldve at least had an enquiry into this! The fact that the driver got suspended just makes an absolute mockery of the current rules which are absolutely stupid. It shows that you can play dodgems and get away with it!!!!!! HRNZ get your act together as you are delusional if you think your rules are correct!
