hesi
Can't get online with my little Samsung mobile Not too bad now I have adjusted the zoom(thanks Chief) on the desk top. I guess they have done it, to move to a format and presentation that is in keeping with overseas sites, so that punters have a format they are familiar with Big question then, why would punters around the world use the TAB over the other betting sites available, what is the TAB's competitive advantage?

Huge risk and cost to stop "leakage', or claw some back. From comments on here it appears the overseas formats are much more user friendly. Personally Im out, which wont affect them to much but I am only the tip of an potential Iceberg here.
hesi
One suggestion, are you observing TAB? The Futures fixed odds, once you get into say the Telegraph win, you can just keep scrolling down to get all the other FO races, without having to revert back to a menu BUT, with Results, you have to keep scrolling back up to the header to get the next race. Be useful if it was the same as for Futures, where you can just click on R1, then page down for all the results at that meeting, while still having the option of going back to the header for a specific race

I'm on VDSL which is good enough to stream movies but errors out on the TAB site. I wonder which device and bandwidth they performance speccd to? The world rugby cup is going to be a debacle - live streaming by the same company that hosts the TAB.

Can anyone confirm? To be competitive, they need these, both for information and for bet placement. Did they actually say there would be no APIs in the build? It seems a bit mystifying to me that you would spend $50m building a new sports betting website in today's competitive global market and provide no way for punters to interface with the data there other than looking at it on screen? I can't see any conditional wagering tools or anything like that, at least not yet. Edited January 9, 2019 by curious

Yes bloody slow I had a rant on the trot section, went fishing today had a few shandys wife and daughter in bed when I got home, have the week off and thought I would give it a good good try out ..limit myself to $50 on some Aussie racing..tried a few trifectas but found you need a good bit of time to put anything on very frustrating, watch n bet stalling all the time...mmmm and we are stuck with this lemon for at least 20 years!

I can't see any conditional wagering tools or anything like that, at least not yet. I've logged in. See nothing that seems to relate to that. Now even though turnover is not the best metric, let's ask ourselves, of the two biggest betting operators in Australia, which one does not offer APIs for data and betting? Neither of them. It's maybe a small thing to many, but if you don't have the option, you are behind, not even keeping up. Those other operators have had fully functioning APIs for many years. hesi
It would be a good time Bernard Saundry, to re-introduce the weekly wagering and cumulative figures on the NZTR website.........you have them Interested posters can then ascertain for themselves, just what difference this new platform has made to turnover
