  1. Of course police and defense force way more important than us old commoners, but you never know things may turn later, enough to get my job back, should be for all, and yes an appeal a possibility, let's hope they drop the lot and let everyone get on with life
  2. How can it become rule for them but not the rest, how fair is that, should be across the board tor everyone
  3. That is right, local figures yesterday hospitalize 175 15% un 45% fully cant remember how many halfed and unknown.
  4. They just continue to push people away from the game, and as I've said before it wont take much theses days,.
  5. They good old days, when there was quite a few trainers and horses up and down the coast, these days apparently there's only one on the whole of the coast area, quite sad really, real shame about the hokitika track unused these days, always enjoyed a day out there racing was good, and you were always close to the action, like all the coast tracks.
  6. That day your comments on the replay they were like two yachts travelling at two knots, as they slugged it out,, enjoyed the old one liners in some of your calls, also one day at Oamaru you called high forty, like the boy with the wheelbarrow, got the job in front of him, great to hear you have so many supporters on this site.
  7. Sad state of affairs, always enjoyed Jason's calls, have a few on my sky when he called our horse home at the head of the field, one being on a very very wet winter meeting at wingatui about 5yrs ago, think from memory it was his birthday, very unfair when you give your all to industry and then get pushed aside, plenty of supporters on here, all the best for your future, and thanks for the memories.
  8. At 35$ a stab, they have made their money, imagine how much this has cost the government, to supposedly save their non existent health system, that money spent could have been better spent trying to improve the failing system.
  9. Sounds like a whale of a tail
  10. Very true saying that one, my old uncle used to say that, and when the shit hits the fan in the workplace and they got no staff, vax status be the last thing their mind.
  11. Cheers, no doubt I know its the right decision, be good to have some time out and rest time,
  12. Paid the ultimate price for staying un poisoned today, job gone, joining the good fight that many others are on, as I said on other post, the animal trials on a Corona virus vaccine didn't end well at all, and most succumbed to other infections, basically backs up what you and many others have said, mandates will end eventually and normality will return.
  13. A very sad state of affairs, I'm in the same boat on the job front, and have agonized over my decision, anxiety stress and sleepless night, for the last three months when I knew this day was coming, so today I tell the my boss I won't be taking the needle, and will end my job of 13yrs, that I have enjoyed and given my all, we are just a few in the whole scheme of people in all walks of life, and alot of critical workers in the health and education, to name a few,and now we hear how short we are in these sectors, but our government didn't care when these workers were lost to the job mandates, no matter how much I have pondered my decision, I still end up with the same result, just how wrong this is how one has to choose between their job and a medical trial, absolutely insane. What a sick world we live in, I just hope the mandates end in time for the people you know, plenty of deaths I bet all shoved under the carpet, but never will they admit that the injection to blame.
  14. Don't think I could be bought off for the love of a family member, but I guess one wouldn't know unless they were in the situation, time all but up for me and my employment, meet with them to deliver the news I won't be taking the jab, feel gutted about losing my job with good hours and days, but can't see the point in taking a jab that for an old variant, hopefully these mandates are dropped soon and may get a chance to return, interesting how some see this jab as a depopulation of the world, maybe that's way out there but who would know, certainly don't like the results of the animal trials.
  15. Bit of a harsh penalty, I reckon, and who knows it may be enough to push another one out of the game, certainly given these times it wouldn't take much, and we all know how horse numbers are low.
  16. Time for a cup of bell I reckon.
  17. Obviously been keep under the carpet, would people be speaking out aloud, I know I would and very loud.
  18. I was told that in all animal models that they have tried to make a Corona virus vaccine for, but never been successful, and not great outcomes
  19. Cheers for your input, haven't lost my job yet, but deadline end of month, and seeing if I can buy some time by taking annual leave at that stage, will see what they say on that, or what the laws are, someone did say that Pfizer are tied up with this vaccine in some form, not sure how true this is. Thanks I find your content very informative.
  20. Didn't he have a son that was a jockey in nz some years back, justin may have been his name, certainly was many years ago, someone on here will know.
  21. Any thoughts on the safety or not on the nova vax. Be interested to hear them, cheers.
  22. Surprise trooper 2nd placing at reefton trots way back in time, Reon's call was funny as well, gold if anyone can find it, or was on course that day.
  23. Great to hear the good fight is continuing, against this insanity, the media not reporting any of it, seems like the Canadian prime minister on the same wavelength as ours, just shows the media is told what to report.
  24. Been hack races for some years in my opinion.
  25. Don't know about the gallops, looking at the photos, more like give you the trots.
