I've got to say that like the Australian Cricket Team (with convicted , penalised cheats, some now back BTW) these large groups/organisations are unfortunately going to have Bad Eggs amongst them , who do something wrong. You have to Weed them out. ..... A good thing if like Te Akau in the news , that something is exposed.!!! IMO shows they are trying to do Weeding. The good "DOCTOR" at Essendon a fine example as well. But collapse the whole organisation ??? nah. You have to 'weed out" the bad eggs , pay a fine or penalty, and keep on leading your field. e.g Waller Empire not gunna collapse because 'Moron" staff member gave a horse Ice. (2016 event)

The disqualified lists are Long and Extensive too. So you will be OUT if Charges serious enough. Yeah that WEIR thing was truly awful for the racing Industry. BOWMAN seemed protected on the track, near killed a jockey (did kill the horse) at Rosehill in winter. Got 6 weeks. I'd i've given him 2 years , ...... little bit protected perhaps. Everyone looking for an Edge, Waller got off, after investigations, so many horses ! , so much can go 'Wrong" seems impossible he could keep 'Tabs' on it all.

In 2013 Leading SydneyTrainer CHRIS WALLER had 4 (four) horses disqualified (2 were winners) from a 'contaminated' batch of feed. The 4 horses tested positive to IBUPROFEN , a non steroidal anti-inflammatory. Chris and a Dr Biffin and a feed company were developing a 'feed mix' to stop horses ' tieing up' apparently. Very lucky to escape sanction/ Disqualification IMO, as this is surely 'Trial and Error' feeding and the Error occurred. Other trainers wouldn't / mighten'd of been so 'Lucky?' that didn't have WINX in the barn.

Blossom, Chief and myself (in detail) explained it earlier in this thread for you, when you asked what made it gallop. Don't forget, As the pace quickens a horses legs stretch 'further in front' of his head and body , than at a slower speed. Spitfires legs were in line with the inside wheel in front of him. I agree with Chief in that, this is a driving error, probably more than Spitfires fault.

That Ashburton trot had a row 5 wide of gallopers 300m out !! was very funny ! was like Ellerslie. Well the winner there doesn't agree Brodie, Nor do people who like big odds (80-1 winner today) Nor does Gammalite, But I am used to it , as mostly Albion is 1 mile racing. Trainers wouldn't agree either. You can race a horse week to week with mile racing. Some of those 2400m races today at Ashburton would leave runners 'Flat" to say the least and performing poorly next time. Today I picked 1 out for a bet . BoomChuckaLucka with Pete McMullen back from the most crooked 3 week suspension I've ever seen in my life. KNEW he would be angry , first drive back. Straight to the front 1.55 mile , easy as you like R4 just a little while ago. $100 win , thank you very much Pete. !! lol
