  1. I see that the Labour MP for Taieri has been putting her two cents worth in on the closure of Forbury. According to her, it will assist in the fight against climate change. What?? Call me stupid, but how? She is the latest in a line of numpties , such as Clare Curran and David Benson Pope to have held that seat.
  2. It's that southerly wind coming from the Antarctic that's the problem. You need more than thermals to counter that. But hey it's winter....and Matty and Bradley have got some useful drives.
  3. Well I'm excited about Forbury Park this week. Racing how I like it.
  4. $100,000 compared to $150,000 last time for the Pacers.. Hmmmm.
  5. No thx. I want my enemies to have some level of character and intelligence.
  6. Mr Brodie has every right to make his point and repeat it as often as he likes. After all, we have to endure your endless repetition.
  7. I agree, the domination of one stable is off putting....but this Aussie fella seems to know so much more about NZ harness than anyone else.
  8. Off subject, I know, but Freda, how will your horses handle Phar Lap tomorrow.? The whole region is bone dry.
  9. Why go after the journalist? He's just doing his job. Instead, go after the Ratbags in the industry who are causing all the problems. Don't shoot the messenger.
  10. Excellent racing today at Winton. Good honest heartland racing, with wins being shared by different stables and drivers. Just how I like it.
  11. And it is so boring.
  12. I am still trying to work out why anyone would want to live in Whanganui....ever!!!??
  13. Indeed. I remember the late Darren Tyquin getting that horse and getting very tongue tied.
  14. Today we were discussing some of the more difficult horse names that commentators have had to tackle. My favourite was down in Southland years ago when the horse was called "the Admirable Admiral". Any suggestions or favourites spring to mind?
  15. Excellent. It was a good day for a number of young Southland trainers. Great to see.
  16. Excellent times, track conditions and racing. Such an underutilized facility.
  17. You started your thread by attacking M McKendry, and ended it by attacking all drivers as having no balls. So which is it? How much did you lose. ? Personally, I admire the courage of every single driver who goes out on the track.
  18. Perhaps it's time to pull the plug on southern jumps racing, before it becomes even more embarrassing?. The question is, I suppose, who gets the Grand Nationals?
  19. Just curious to know, are there any jumps riders still based in the South?
  20. Do you have any tracks where you refuse to race on principle.? Is this common among trainers?

I thought Matty's drive was very wise. The horse clearly had nothing left, and I thought he did the sensible thing.
  22. What a great win by Alexy. That was cool.
  23. I had noticed that the superstar, Whangamata, kicks off the programme as horse number one in race one, at start number 60.
  24. There is a serious pattern of misconduct over time. Where did he learn this pattern of conduct? Did none of his family intervene?
  25. Just a first starter to keep an eye on at Wairio.....One Tree Hill, with Brad Williamson. Going extra well at trials and in work. Jewels bound, all going well.
