  1. My doc, who just happens to be a very intoxicating fella, suggested he give me this one, as opposed to THAT other one.
  2. That looks like old man Williamson after a trip up the Waitaki river........with his Beethoven up his kilt for safe keeping.
  3. Do you mind Chief. It's now known as Brian Tamaki Mataura and there has been so many champions of the terf that has graced it's magnificent pristine grass top, I'd be here till the next election listing them. Let's just state facts - North Island Champions = squillions South Island Champions = 2..............Wingatui's Show Me the Gate to go Home and the Washdyke Warrior, Grey Neigh. Riccarton = Zilch, Nadda, nutting
  4. The best thing about Christchurch, and in particular Riccarton, is the plane ride out of there. Close the joint down. It's not worth the time or effort - what was the last decent horse to come out of there.... Little Brown Jigger ???
  5. Given the connuction between the boss at HQ and Cameron (I'll fuck it up for you - no worries maaaate) George, the recent roomer of a complete sell off of Ellerslie racecourse for squillions, to build a new subdivision, and the planning application with the council and it's new mayor to hold night racing around the inner Viaduct with the finishing post at HQ........it all makes sense dunnit !!!!
  6. Popps looks like his dog shit on his upper lip. I nearly vomited up my Saturday brunch when I saw him. Jeezus wept. How low we are falling.
  7. I keep hearing George is a dead duck at the Warriors. The role of Urinal Polisher at HQ would seem entirely appropriate.
  8. A very average day in terms of standouts, but good luck to all and sundry. I am going to dip my toe in the water on the visitor from the North in the first. My sort of odds too.
  9. At the rate you are going Michael, it may take till May to get you you started.
  10. Maybe I can assist you to fully comprehend why you are singled out Michael. You are a twat, a fool, a moron, a muttonhead, a dunce, a simpleton, you're out to lunch, you're a sandwich short of a picnic, a bonehead, a nitwit BUT most of all, you have no credibility, no polish on your turd. Take some time to polish your turd Michael. You may have to wait though, as your shite seems awfully loose. Harden up Michael, then get polishing, then get some cred and hey presto, you may, just may not get singled out.
  11. Alverta at home was a prize madam. She was a beautiful type but as most of the top mares seem to have, she had that nasty streak. Her main minder was the fillies and mares foreman, a wonderful man by the name of Lewis Seib. Lewis had been a horseman for all his working life and he and Paul and Paul's foreman during those years, Barry (ex Colin and David Hayes) made a great team at bringing the best out of Alverta and Ortensia. The young lass who strapped them, came over from Perth, and is still there I believe. Lewis sadly passed away a year or two ago but his daughter Danielle, who spent all her time, when not at the local high school, helping at the stables. Danielle is now training herself on the South Coast.
  12. Scaled down you say!! Don't think so. Busy as hell running the stud but he loves training and he is very good at it. He currently has 46 in the stable and another 20 odd being pre trained. His eldest boy Johnny is already a shadow, when not at school, learning the trade.
  13. One of the best strike rate stables in Australia installed one at it's training base in the Hunter Valley 14 years ago and has had Group winners worldwide since. INVALUABLE
  14. True Is Rogie back riding trackwork? He looked like he had lost a ton of weight on the tele today? Hope he's ok.
  15. No, the forth horse. I was getting a little excited when he was looking like running third until the last stride. Will be much improved for Hastings.
  16. Can I strongly suggest you take a moment to get best odds, at your favourite Oz bookmaker, on a runner in the big race at Te Rapa this afternoon. This fella will benefit from the run without doubt, and the main goal is at the Bay in a couple of weeks, but when you see him on the box today you will want to back him anyway, as he is looking a million bucks. I will not be at all surprised to see him sprout wings in the final 50 metres and at $51 he is worthy of your attention.
  17. Have you not read the poster in the office at HQ..... The oblique paradox of propaganda is that the lie in the throat becomes, by repetition, the truth in the heart.
  18. Seriously, this NZ TAB are so bloody slow. I've searched the whole website, from Racing to Sports to the Terms and Conditions. I cannot find the market anywhere with the Fixed Odds for how long it will be before the Boss of HQ names this nutcase. Move away from the pie warmer and get that market up ASAP PLEASE. Thank you in anticipation.
  19. Goes alright too 😃😃😃
  20. For those with an interest, the Frankel filly is lining up this afternoon, at Hawkesbury (Race 5), instead of tomorrow, in what looks an easier assignment and has been crunched accordingly.
  21. I could have sworn I saw a Coupland's pie truck delivering to the Pitty stable yesterday. Share the love love please Michael. I like the apple pies.
  22. Because I can. It's a BIG I Crash, not a little one......... But you knew that.
  23. It is LAZY and unprofessional and is yet another example of why NZ punters are deserting this lot in favour of offshore bookmakers. Example: Tomorrow at Hawkesbury. The odds were up yesterday and as you can see punters took advantage of the offerings and invested early. The magnificently bred Frankel filly of Mark Newnhams has certainly drawn attention.
  24. Hullo people at the TAB. I know you are short staffed, over worked and underpaid, but is there any chance you could move away from the pie warmer and get the fixed odds out for tomorrow's two gallops meetings in NZ SOON ? PLEASE. Thank you in advance.
  25. JJ Crash If you find the posters over there that well informed, educated and superior, and those on this site weak and unfair, why do you continually comment here on a very regular basis? Is your ego and IQ that deflated, are you that starved of attention you so obviously need on a daily basis, that you have to be seen here, to feel part of something that you don't get from your other activities at home. Admit it Crash. This is you isn't it? We love you Crash. Feel the loooove mate. Be kind.
