How will this rule affect race days here? I know measures have been taken in Australia to limit the public and owners at race meetings with only personnel that have to be there allowed on course. Why has grnz failed to advise anyone here? Starting immediately, my industry has started forcing us to work from home with no office contact and I know of several other big companies and industries taking similar precautions. Why are grnz always behind the curb?

Sports are simply far more lucrative long term and more acceptable in today's society than racing is so its fully understandable as to why they are putting an emphasis on sports betting over racing

Idk what caused it but it looked like a really unfit dog to me. I've seen it happen in a trial or a straight run on a really bad occasion (very very rarely)

Hed go broke with her training them. 115 dogs she had at one point with under 20 consistently racing. Would be interesting to watch though.

The trainer is ultimately responsible for what happens to their dogs. If Cole is charged for live baiting on the property she trains out off with her dogs. I'd expect her to face similar charges under grnz law as the law dictates that trainers are ultimately responsible. Also. Spca charges can be very harsh. If its proven guilty. Dont be surprised if everyone residing at the address gets banned from having animals in their care. I've seen this a few times in other cases in nz

I have never made fun of anyones size or weight. I agree some people have taken it to far and most have asked them to stop.

So you are saying to turn a blind eye to the corruption within this industry? What a great way to get it shut down. Greyhound racing has done that for too long and it will eventually bite the industry in the arse. Racing is already in decline in NZ and it's gotten to a point where people shun you if you mention you were once involved in an industry with such low Morales and disgusting habits such as live baiting or shooting and burning of dogs among other things. You tell your average joe blogs that you were involved in racing and you know how they tend to refer to the industry? They will make some remark about its animal welfare problems and how it should be shut down. It's not just the greyhound protection league whom hold these beliefs. If you think ignoring problems like this is the way to go, than you are apart of the problem. Not the solution.

Say that to the dog she had that was supposed to be rehomed but was found in the wild in pup instead, unregistered aswell

Grnz is the only industry ive ever been in where those in charge use their magic wands instead of applying the actual rule book. Its a joke and not even a funny one. What use is a rule book if half the rules are just ignored anyway? This is not having a go at any particular person or favouritism of a person imo, its the fact the stipes are to inept to deal with problems in an official way and this has been going on for years

Yep, and only got a 300 dollar fine and one month suspension if i recall. Was already over by the time everyone knew

I believe the case will be heard infront of a jury in december.

Mayhounds was advertised as apart of grnz rehoming scheme. I dont see how the procedure could be different for them, yet the same for fatima and the other rehoming facilities. Hope someones ensuring the rest of the procedures are being followed now.
