The thing is though that The Fixer’s driver breached the whip rule and gained an advantage over the horses that didn’t have a driver that breached the rules. The horse should’ve been at least relegated behind Tiger Tara. The whip rule remains an absolute joke that should never have been brought in!!!!

I note that the winning driver of the NZ Cup today cheated by hitting the winning horse more times than permitted. She has been suspended as well as a $2,500 fine!!! This is certainly not the first time this repeat offender has been found guilty in races. The horse gained an advantage over the other horses and so should’ve been an enquire, and Tiger Tara promoted! This is not a good look for harness racing and I doubt that many would think that it is a fair rule, the way it is at the moment!!

Is it a STANDING start or a WALK UP start??? Make up their minds!! The second start most were actually on the move when the tape went, some advantaged and some not!!! Absolute lottery and it shouldn’t be!!!!!!!!!!

Reality is that after today there will be many owners looking to sell their horses overseas as they won’t see a future in ever being able to win a big race. Yes there are some huge supporters of The AllStars stable on BOAY and of course the Darkside. Brodie tells it the way it is as I can take the heat from them. Of course they do a magnificent job for their owners, but most horses are not trained by The AllStars stables. I am telling you now, this domination of filling all the places in the big races and therefore plundering the major stake money, is going to be heavily detrimental to the harness industry in the next few years. Agree with me or not, don’t care, but Brodie is always on the money and will be once again!

Saw the first race, I did like Ruthless Kayla but put off by her last race where she went pretty average though

Richie, as I say it is not all about the money, as I have more than enough to tide me over for a few lifetimes, but not necessarily from racing. I have just got the stitch a bit, from the constant hassle of getting money on and the odds being offered. Brodie no Doubt will be back at some stage!!

Brodie going against the tide? Had to drop someone off home, as they had had enough of the small divs and difficulty in seeing the horses on the track. Didnt mind going home as there was no value being offered.

Globe, I made money previously because I spent plenty of time studying. I did it for the challenge rather than the money, as I am financially secure! Nowadays I really can’t be bothered to the same extent due to the Fixed Odds offered and the restrictions. There are other ways of making good money without being treated like a criminal!!!

Tiger Tara actually went far better than The Fixer, but then it got the biggest cheque! I think that Todd went far too early when there was no need to as Tiger Tara has got great finishing speed and would’ve won, had he sat for longer!!

Plonker, That is charming! Successful plonker though you would have to say Globe!!!!! Dont need to think out of the square at all! Just can’t be bothered and don’t need to be bothered betting on Cup Day as it is very monotonous with the one stable plundering all the big stakes!!!

Richie, call me what you want, telling it the way it damn well is!!! Domination is killing it! Poor dividends and returns for the once a year attendees does absolutely nothing in getting them back during the year. Look, doesn’t affect my living standards whatsoever, as I am financially very secure! However, it is going to kill the sport, as new owners are not coming into the harness industry, and punters are goi g to be fewer and far between. just couldn’t be bothered backing any at $1.50, as there are other ways of making a lot of money without backing a horse at ridiculously short odds. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, which I respect, however things are not goi g to bet any better if one trainer wins every race on Cup day that they have horses in.

AllStars benefit day once again. If you can’t see that this is absolutely the worst thing that can happen for harness racing then you are blind!!!!!

Brodie is going out, but there does not appear to be to much to offload on. Turn It Up, $1.40 and $1.01 Fixed!!!!! Might put plenty for a place at $1.01 FFS. There are heaps of others that are major unders. Hopefully it won’t be a AllStars benefit day again, because with the small dividends they will be, will only make sure that people won’t come back until next year!
