Yes it feels like their priorities would be paying exorbitant management salaries rather than getting the basics things right like having a decent website that works 100% all the time.
I want to do 140 combinations for my pick six but now I am going to have to put on 140 separate tickets and its going to cost $140 dollars instead of $14
When they stopped the jackpots it really took a dive. Pools dropped and although it was still good, a 20K pool will not generate the same interest as 250K
I have picked up quite a few pick sixes over the last 30 years the biggest being $75,000 at Nelson back in the days when they still jackpotted. I think the pick six paid $125,000 and I had three 20% units of it from memory. Used to love the pick sixes at Forbury during the winter and got many of those when Blair and Dexter were dominating. Shame they are gone now.
You have got no show Brodie. The TAB are not going to satisfy customers who can beat them and lower their yield period. Quite the opposite will happen. They will slowly force you and other like you out of the game through restrictions and bans meanwhile trying to get their greedy little hands on as much money the average losing punter will give them, through offering bonus bets and other temptations.
This year is going to be a big one for us here at the TAB. As we prepare to provide our customers with some of the new things they’ve been asking for, we’ve also had to look at some of the products we currently offer TAB customers.
As part of this Pick6 and Place6 bet types will no longer be offered from today, Wednesday 13 March.
Another section of punters lost forever by the out of touch TAB 💩
Only betting I will be doing this weekend is on the grass track at Banks Peninsular. At least there is a chance of getting a nice return on those bigger fields.
As a side note I heard they are doing away from letting you put on pick six and place at TAB outlets from this week. Online only. Only a matter of time before it all goes online Brodie. Then they can really keep tabs on your bets.
Wouldn't have thought so unless it was a racing rule they broke and they were done for that. They tried to get a few of the Inca participants while they were going through the courts but basically got told to eff off by the judge when requesting information.
They're too busy knee-deep in videos, scouting for the next 'whipping rule' offender, all to fund their opulent wages in a bloated org that's doing it's best to drag down the harness racing industry. I believe in following the rules but after reading some of the reports have got no time for them at all.
Yes it is almost as if they are trying to keep the latest decisions away from public viewing. They obviously don't even look at their own web page or it would have been fixed weeks ago.
Had a bit of a go on Lincoln Cove at Cambridge R3 I thought the bookies had that over the odds.
I like a couple of Ricky May drives at Westport. Mikra Wave in race 2 and Kawatiri Creek race 5
The writing is on the wall for Auckland harness. Only a few bigger trainers keeping the game going. If any of Herlihy, Telfer, Green, Michelle and Bernie or Barry Purdon chucked it in it then Harness would go downhill pretty quickly.
Where has he gone. Is he sick or has he just pulled the pin on harness?
Another trainer gone from the North, the fields there at Auckland this week are terrible.
Not going to be easy today to win that race. She is in between a rock and a hard place from that draw.
Best gate speed in the race is Taxman by a mile and Blair driving today so likely to head forward. Thing is you don't want to be stuck behind that runner if there is a bit of speed in the race as even though it went its best run for some time on the first day it could be going backward at the turn dragging all the fence runners with it. So do you take a punt and head forward and possibly get trapped again or do you sit on the outer and come down the outside. Only thing with coming down the outside is someone from the back makes a move mid race before you do and then you are possibly trapped in the middle. Tane JJ only needs clear running without doing any work to be a good winning chance. Could probably come from last down the outer and beat most of those. It will be an interesting watch.
Sorry didn't mean to offend. Just thought I would show Counter Punch you can push out from anywhere if you get aggressive enough. Funnily enough just happened to be Jonny driving that one.
Lets see Tane JJ get the win on Sunday. Good draw to work with again. 👍
