Yes it is almost as if they are trying to keep the latest decisions away from public viewing. They obviously don't even look at their own web page or it would have been fixed weeks ago.
-
You need to click reset under the submit button on the decisions page and it will give you the latest

Had a bit of a go on Lincoln Cove at Cambridge R3 I thought the bookies had that over the odds. I like a couple of Ricky May drives at Westport. Mikra Wave in race 2 and Kawatiri Creek race 5

The writing is on the wall for Auckland harness. Only a few bigger trainers keeping the game going. If any of Herlihy, Telfer, Green, Michelle and Bernie or Barry Purdon chucked it in it then Harness would go downhill pretty quickly.
-
Where has he gone. Is he sick or has he just pulled the pin on harness? Another trainer gone from the North, the fields there at Auckland this week are terrible.

Not going to be easy today to win that race. She is in between a rock and a hard place from that draw. Best gate speed in the race is Taxman by a mile and Blair driving today so likely to head forward. Thing is you don't want to be stuck behind that runner if there is a bit of speed in the race as even though it went its best run for some time on the first day it could be going backward at the turn dragging all the fence runners with it. So do you take a punt and head forward and possibly get trapped again or do you sit on the outer and come down the outside. Only thing with coming down the outside is someone from the back makes a move mid race before you do and then you are possibly trapped in the middle. Tane JJ only needs clear running without doing any work to be a good winning chance. Could probably come from last down the outer and beat most of those. It will be an interesting watch.

Sorry didn't mean to offend. Just thought I would show Counter Punch you can push out from anywhere if you get aggressive enough. Funnily enough just happened to be Jonny driving that one. Lets see Tane JJ get the win on Sunday. Good draw to work with again. 👍

Get Jonny to show her how it is done.

Mmmm Tane JJ. Get on second day?

Yes big caver late in betting and driven accordingly

The drive of the night award must go to Gavin Smith on Star Magic at Addington. He did well to have a couple of goes at pushing Tim Williams down onto the fence on the second favourite Elite Styx and succeeded. Sat three back on the outer until the home turn. Made sure he didn't get locked in by making a move when runs started coming wider. Hell he looked like he was driving a truck down the straight and not a horse! He was aggressively flicking switches and pulling cords on both sides of the sulky before getting stuck in with the whip and winning by half a head. Great drive Gavin.

Well played John Dunn. Well played.

Under the banner of TAB Racing Club but the Entain CEO was doing the bidding when they bought that horse.
-
Does the TAB know that spending $340,000 does not guarantee the best horse or actually a horse with any ability at all. For that sort of money they could have purchased several and had them trained for a year.

Yes makes a complete mockery of the system. I don't see how the harness racing in Tassie makes enough money to survive. Surely no one bets on those races with all the Yole runners in them. The turnover in that state would not generate enough income to keep the industry going, or are they funded differently to NZ?

Very odd move by the NZ TAB this morning...

Nothing surprises me anymore with the TAB. Not the first time they have used underhand tactics to screw the punters. -
Trackside comes through just as well in the middle of the Vietnam jungle as it does back in NZ. I recently spent a couple of months travelling in Australia, Vietnam and Japan. Had a bet at every harness meeting and never had a problem getting connected at any of those countries.

The salaries most CEOs are on does not match the amount of work they do. CEOs are pretty much glorified delegators who get their managers to do all the heavy lifting while they sit in their flash offices thinking up ways to spend company money on schemes that make them look like they are achieving something.
-
NZ TAB is a bloody disgrace. Took the afternoon off work to have a bet on and watch the Rangiora Trots and can't even get a bet on. Seriously TAB for a billion dollar company you are fucking hopeless.

Meanwhile in the same race Crystal Hackett was gifted the fence run behind Cold Chisel which was the best spot in the race but chose to sit parked and was then unlucky. Cost the owners 10K in prize money doing that.

What a great campaign the teal pants is but whose bright idea was it to have two or three teal jackets the same color replacing the trainers colors in a race. Complete turn off for me and not necessary when the teal pants are so easy to see in a race. Three jackets the same color on different trainers just makes it confusing. I have given up on the number of times the commentator has got the names mixed up on them when commentating and you know it is bad when down at the local pub they are trying to look at the number of the horse on the screen on the teal jacket runners to see what horse is what during a race.

The horse that won had raced well against the best mares in the country including Millwood Nike while Woodlea Jewel had been beating one and two win horses and had drawn wide on a leaders track with a ton of gate speed inside. I would like to thank the BGP for raising the dividend on the Advance Party 😂. Once upon a time win movers were a good indicator to horses chances but social media has pretty much killed that train of thought. Following random guys picks that get plunged in by a group of sheep following along is a compete waste of time. But it can work to your advantage and today was a good example. I had Advance Party around 1.90 and to get $5.00 was unbelievable.

Two Grass Track Meetings on a Sunday....addicts will be smiling :)
Nowornever replied to Walt's topic in Trotting Chat
Of all the meetings this week I am looking forward to the Hawera Friday/Sunday double. Great fields and I reckon I can give a the bookies a blood nose looking at the fields.
