  1. I think the problem is I doubt the stipes even realized this had occurred. Certainly would not surprise me if they didn't as there are a lot of things worth mentioning even more obvious than this that never get addressed either. They will watching this thinking what is Galah on about then go oh I see! Oh well too late now.
  2. Mmm I can't think of many. As a punter we have lost the pick six, all up bets, dwindling tote pools, more restrictions, website still playing up, slower results, no place divs on trackside plus more. What have we gained apart from same race multis, top four and money back odds, which is not really a positive if you are not allowed to bet on them.
  3. Yes hard to see where they were from the angles but I think that Robyns Hustler was actually almost three wide at that stage. You can see a bigger gap than normal between the fence runners and the outside horses coming into the bend the first time around.
  4. They have tried to get rid of the small punter for years (eg removing phone betting for the older punters with no tech knowledge, radio, free to air tv etc) and now they are wanting the small punters back. They have finally gone full circle.
  5. Yes they just take away the options like top four, and other fixed bet types when you log into your account. It is like they don't exist. Can still bet on tote but not most fixed options.
  6. Boost the turnover with your own money and report the turnover is up. Everyone is overjoyed at the news. Genius plan but will it last! Do they have to pay tax on the bonus money people spend or is that a loophole they can get around?
  7. As long as the Aussie guys keep doing the pricing. The gap between opening and closing odds is night and day. It is almost like the computer is doing it based on form or something. I have never seen it so good for the punters.
  8. Yes but surely it can not be going into the same book...what's the point of having two companies then.
  9. They supposedly have a bookmaker from Betcha doing the fixed odds pre race "where the money is going" bit on trackside. Is this the money that is going on the Betcha fixed odds or Entain? Are the fixed odds now now controlled from Betcha like they are making it out to be on trackside?
  10. I backed the winner using the same theory thinking it would be staying test.... I put a wee bit on at 21 and it got right out to 41 🤦‍♂️
  11. Get Natalie back she had better than a 50% winning strike rate when driving them.
  12. Bloody hell I have been paid out twice at Addington tonight before the results have appeared on the results page. Not good enough ENTAIN
  13. Manawatu mainly used as a training ground by the Telfers so I think their horses will improve quite a bit with a few more runs under their belts. Captains Secret reminds me a bit of Semba who had four starts at Manawatu and only won once. It then won a race at Auckland in 1:54 a few starts later and looked a good horse in the making.
  14. Well he was on six favourites over the two days and ran two thirds with them. You could argue Terry Chmiel is in the same boat in the south. Has had many drives on favourites or near favourite Telfer horses for little result. In fact I have done very well backing against them so far this year. It will be interesting to see if hot favourites Cocktails and Caviar and Akatea can keep their form with Terry driving tomorrow night at Addington. That Akatea race is a great betting race some good value in there and I think Akatea is too short at 1.75.
  15. Doing all they can to attract new customers to get more turnover. 400% deposit match on opening an account. Normally they get desperate with promotions like that when the turnover is not going that good.
  16. So easy to make money there last night. How they opened up Nickle and Dime at 3.00 is nuts. Thankful they did. Got a couple of decent multis ending on it
  17. Used to be pretty good I thought but since coming back from Aussie the horses do not seem to run for him as much as they used to. He has been beaten on at least a dozen 1.50 telfer favourites in the last ten months. I used to be confident on the telfer runners but not when he is driving them now days.
  18. On a brighter note. https://harnesslink.com/new-zealand/smith-set-to-honour-greg-sugars-legacy-in-rowe-cup/ Will not be a dry eye in the house if One Over All wins.
  19. Yes tragic news. Gone way too soon.
  20. Doesn't seem real !Greg Sugars passed away last night? https://www.facebook.com/larajayfarm
  21. Yeh that was my gut feel as well. What a waste of time having an inquiry into that. In saying that I was also expecting him to be disqualified because nothing makes sense anymore with some of their decisions. It is never cut and dried even when it is with those guys.
  22. If you could or did get a decent bit of $125,000 you would only do it once because you would be goneburger and never allowed to bet with them again lol
  23. Quinellas and trifectas look ugly in comparison. Can you take 1% Quaddies and first fours? If so those declared dividends would probably be correct if someone only got a few % on betcha.
  24. If you do just back Wigg. She runs rings around the others.
  25. Bookies didn't know obviously
