The grass track racing is certainly popular, but at Gore today the problem occurred which happens at many other courses. Namely, the crossing. I don't profess to be any expert on the subject, but surely there has to be a better solution to smoothing these out.
It was just about inevitable that in most races, breakers occurred at the crossing. What's the fix?
I've never really understood why the current New Plymouth track has been preserved with for so long.
There are multiple issues with the track, and in a growing city with a big demand for land for housing, the site is an obvious solution.
Time to sell up and relocate to a better location
It doesn't rock my boat, whatever that means, because I don't understand the issue . And what's gender or climate change got to do with anything . Try playing the ball, not the man, like the other mob.
I hope that throughout these months, Mr Andersons former partner/girlfriend has been getting the right support and is rebuilding her life after the traumatic events.
I see the slot holders have been announced. Any one got any comments? My reaction was yawn. I just want to know which horses, and not which money hungry suits are putting their finger in the pie.
Time was eventually called on Forbury, rather than prolong the agony . Let's hope any decisions re Alex Park are made promptly and sensibly. I don't think I could handle another ludicrous thread with ideas such as turning Alex Park into a circus or sideshow of gimmicky carnival acts
I think Auckland should get in the good folk from Kurow and Reefton and ask them the secret of their success. And it's not more corporate high flyer events.
I knew there was a 4th one. I always loved that at Gore, the first race was sponsored by the Gore Septic tank Cleaning co. It gave certainty and solidity in unsettled times.
