  1. Definitely won't be out of her depth.I hope she goes well.
  2. Gee that's a tricky one. I try not to follow certain jocks these days, but will have a cursory look at what the 'guns' are riding. I was taken by Elen Nicholas who was riding well, until she was involved in that fall last weekend,so a shame to see her side lined for a while. In the South,i am a big Jason Laking fan,i mean not anyone can win Group 1s. I do think if he was linked to a prominent stable and getting better rides, then he could be right up there in the South, but he's not but i will continue to throw my $$ his way.
  3. Pretty sure Jamie Kah was down to ride the winner.Ben Melham i think was going to be riding the horse that ran 2nd in it.
  4. Just read an article that states that Mark Zahra was also in attendance,so he's been rubbed out as well.So the ride on Elle( Verry Elleegant) is up for grabs again.
  5. Ah the idiot strikes again.Think we all know who is pathetic and it isn't Craig.
  6. Oh yes i do now remember that same interview. Well Sarah gets a good chance to level up with John,as he's suspended so not driving this week,so it should be all on,hope she goes well.
  7. Congrats to Sarah for getting the win the comp. Interesting that her 2 wins yesterday now have her 4 behind John Morrison, with i think 3 meetings left in the South, can she get him?. Interesting that Sarah hasn't travelled up North in her quest for the title, like some others have done when it's been getting tight.
  8. So for those that listened today,I didn't,but what were your thoughts?. Was there any racing from Aussie broadcast? or will they be keeping the Aussie racing for the bigger days/weekends?.
  9. Have never been to Forbury but have always enjoyed having a punt on their meetings. It's sad to see a club with so much history being rubbed out,but i guess its a world that we live in now,a shame tho as smaller clubs are the lifeline of this industry. Interesting to see they are doing a 'commentators night' on Thursday. As Dougie said a little odd that Davey Mac wasn't mentioned in calling a race, hopefully maybe it was an error and he will be on track, will be interesting to hear Kevin Payne call a race, hopefully he's been commentating some races at home to get ready for it. I hope the club has a bumper night for their swansong.

Looked to do it with a fair bit left in the tank.
  11. They just got a winner with Somekindawonderful. Think they have had the odd winner lately, getting plenty of placings however.
  12. I seriously hope it will come back, but i have no idea if it will.
  13. Have just seen a re run of the race, and wow that was one ballsy ride to get the win.Plenty of other riders probably wouldn't of gone where Jamie did,but i guess she showed why she's pretty bloody good and killing it in Melbourne. I punted the horse each way and managed to get a small % of the trifecta. Ended up by not watching it live due to needing to go on nappy duty lol,but was a good result to see on the TAB site.
  14. Who was the commentator? i just assumed it would be Matt Cross. Only asking as i generally watch the races on the laptop but with the volume on mute,so that i don't annoy my better half.
  15. Drove a couple of his more than handy trotters back in the day..Glenbogle and Whatsundermykilt.
  16. Is Shane back in Canterbury?. Only asking as i noticed on Friday that he drove one for Robbie Holmes, and that is the same again on Monday. I know he's been based in the deep South for a number of years, but maybe he's come back?. Very capable driver who did have a bit of success when last based in Canterbury with Kevin Fairbairn's team.
  17. I think BFB will lead up early, but i can see Sundees Sun coming around and more than likely getting the front, and from there i think he will be too good for BFB. Oscar will probably come around for a look as well tho if Johnny Dunn does get the front he'll park him. They are probably the main 3 for me,tho Muscle Mountain and for a roughie Vacation Hill should be in the mix as well.
  18. Good to see Jason back on Wednesday with a handful of rides. I shall look forward to seeing him boot home some winners.
  19. Nah mine is pretty full. But i'm not the fuck head that's having a go at another website and a subject that means nothing to them. Just taking a shot because its a rival racing forum..small man syndrome.
  20. Probably has very little going on in their life.
  21. I may be wrong but i don't think the Cup is on the radar?. All the talk from what i've read is for the connections to target the Arc and from what i did read if that's too happen she may not have that many more starts this campaign. I love the horse, been a fan from day 1 and it was so good to see her fight to the line and get another Group 1.A deadset honey with a massive will to win.
  22. Hmmm another grumpy loser.
  23. I agree re Nelson and Blenheim winter circuit. They were always well represented and im sure they will be again if they come back, but that is the big question..will it be back?.
  24. Yip Dean definitely had some nice horses back in the day...Thrashem,Crushem and Rare Touch too name a few and yes he was blessed with some good drivers such as Mark Jones and Anthony Butt...and now Sarah O'Reilly who goes very well. Just like most trainers they go thru lulls,am sure he'll bounce back.
  25. She is still a total honey. Gutsy win on Saturday, really stuck the neck out. As we know she is only going to get better the further she goes, bring it all on.
