I've already said on here Tab treat their customers, well their best ones to treats like I mentioned somewhere here. Invited top punters to avonhead tavern where they were handed kit envelopes with vouchers containing credits etc, food and booze were handed out. About 100? Asked. I knew about 3or 4 , 1 guy surprised me. He was my bankng guy. BTW I punted every race with no return. Crowds looked amazing, seemed a great day out? Hj

My 2cents I used to plan my 10 day holiday break around Nelson meetings. Another owner I know used to put up his and my trainer in a motel in stoke. We paid for his meals as well. This trainer worked same dates as us but he continued on to Blenheim circuit. We went home after Nelson circuit. I haven't been to Nelson in a few years. Hj

I used to go every year, there's nothing like it. Arrive Friday night, booze up in the rec, sat, take bus or own cars to track and enjoy the day, then back to the pub again. Late night then leave next day. We stopped going when Brent (owner) his loopy wife farked our bookings up. It rained next few years then we stopped going. Hj
