  1. So? So,what was the real reason for announcing that they were taking a break from racing and Hayden Cullen was taking over the training, when this was clearly UNTRUE?
  2. Havent seen it but sounds much better than the normal puke material! Roll on Jewels Day so I do not have to watch the racing live, and hope the winners come from many stable outside Rolleston!
  3. The hardest thing is finding an agency or pub TAB that has enough cash to be able to collect winnings when you have multiple winning tickets that accumulate! No, I do not want accounts credited!!
  4. Paleface, most should know by now that it was never being run by Hayden Cullen! The announcement was just a load of rubbish and not a great PR exercise at the end of the day! Would not surprise if Cullen is not there after Cup Week!
  5. You may well be right JAKH re the politician. To be fair though, the way the start was, the unruly wasnt your normal start with such a small field and a bunch of nillers. Being in front in that field with a horse with slightly more ability than most of the others, you wouldve won on it!!!!! The fact is that the horse shouldve been off the front and not unruly as it never gallops whether it be the start or during the race, so yes “The Brodster on the money” as per normally normal JAKH!
  6. Chief, to be fair could you say that he has been given any favours after all the loyal service that he has given over many years? At the end of the day it was a business decision made by the Cullen Allstars stable, however I also wouldnt have worked for anyone that treated loyal staff that way!!!!!!! !
  7. Exactly, I said that it had a slight bit of ability. the start helped and yes it wouldve won without being off the unruly!! Why it was is questionable as it never gallops????
  8. Dont worry Gamma, we all know who wears the pants there!
  9. Gammalite, it is not a new stable at all! Purdon/Rasmussen are just as much running the stable as they were before they made the statement that they were taking a break from the stable!!!!!!!! Do you really believe that Hayden Cullen is giving orders to Nat?????? Lol
  10. FFS, JJ, it was YOU that firstly inferred that the Brodster has an IQ of under 10! So I am more than happy to respond to your theory! I do not need any support from anyone but we can all see that you need reassurance. not playing silly games as it is hard work being successful with such a low IQ!
  11. Royal Aspiration was a more recent good trotter he trained! Not sure how he was so good as he was one of the roughest trotters you could see, but he was like that all of his career.
  12. Gossip and innuendo? Maybe gossip, but no need for innuendo at all! Truth will out!
  13. Trotsfan, you are correct, why would Tim leave just before the Jewels Day? Just remember everyone, the trainer is Hayden Cullen, as Mark and Nat are taking a Claytons break from harness racing! If you still believe that, you will still believe in the tooth fairy! Tim is better away from it anyway!
  14. Chief, Brodie is on the money! True story will come out no doubt! Yes Tim is a fine bloke and did a great job for the stable over a number of years, and I have no doubt will succeed in The future!
  15. Maybe Tim was not going to get any drives from the stable, even if he was still there!! Maybe the orders are not being given by the person named as the current trainer in the racebook! Brodie as always, “on the money”.
  16. Jj, just shows you then, that you can be very successful in life with a very low IQ doesnt it? You clearly have a very high IQ, but very unsuccessful in life! Thems the breaks!
  17. It is more about the challenge Ranga, however why would I do the homework for next to nothing???
  18. Actually 2k is not really enough however they are not offering $2k on NZ harness JJ! Looks like $500 on harness!
  19. “ Discriminatory” Exactly! Punters being treated not equally!! Chief, very interesting, wonder if NZ follows? Probably not as they do not understand what they are doing to the general wellbeing of racing in NZ, Hopefully they will see the error of their ways and their flawed business practice that is costing them big turnover!, Being restricted often to less than the cost of a couple of beers, you should be able to appreciate what some of the restricted punters in NZ have to endure!
  20. The hobby trainers in Dunedin will probably give it away without Forbury meetings! You are deluded if you believe the tripe of increasing turnover of harness racing. And that things are looking good. As I have said previously, we can all look forward to increasing stakes then? Jewell day stakes reduced by $50k per race, why is this with all this profit from increased turnover? There is buggerall new harness punters coming thru that the TAB needs. Current punters used to have the attraction of watching racing oncourse, but nowadays it is next to no punters there generally. Other punters that would help turnover significantly are not allowed to punt due to pathetic wagering limits? Flawed business plan and I stated it will come back to haunt the TAB in several ways for harness racing!
  21. providing the races arent abandoned if we get too rain, the Addington fields Sunday are a helluva lot more interesting than racing at Cambridge over the mile! Overhyped and over rated is Jewels Day!!!
  22. Na much better than that Ranga. Good punting fields tonight if you are selective. Be on.
  23. FFS! To restrict punters to $15 on any bet is just ludicrous Ranga! Anyway no point discussing Ranga, opportunities tonight to make plenty is happening!
  24. So why are they allowed to restrict punters to net$15? Why wouldnt they want to increase turnover Ranga?
