  1. I hate betting at Menangle. It is one of those courses where horses you think should win go terrible at times.
  2. I reckon House could get Buddy Reign to win one pretty quickly at Manawatu. His gate speed would take him a long way and House has won with much worse horses than him.
  3. Yes I think the House stable will go close to the premiership this year with the two juniors doing the steering if they keep picking up new horses. Already had a small nibble at 7.50 on the futures.
  4. For group and feature racing next 16 months 6.5million spread over 64 races in the north vs 9.5million spread over 109 races in the south
  5. If the North is where the best yields are then everybody would be moving there. I see the opposite happening.
  6. Strange decision in my opinion moving away from the better racing and bigger fields. I compare it to someone like Emma Stuart moving to Tasmania! Why would you!. Mind you nothing makes sense these days.
  7. Turns out even if you put your bets on and it comes in they find a way to fuck you up the arse. Yes I am pissed off! They did me out of over $1000 in that one alone. How many other times has this happened.
  8. Timaru going back to grass track racing. Maybe Auckland should do the same and utilize some of the grass tracks in the area. Kudos for trying the grass at Timaru again.
  9. Not providing almost like admitting guilt. Sounds like someone has dobbed them in!
  10. Need standing starts but just need to make them stand still and not get a running start like most of them try to do.
  11. One of my pet peeves is drivers from three deep the fence coming off and getting beaten by the horse who was behind them on the pegs. Nine times out of ten there is space up the inside but drivers are not patient enough to wait and instead come off the fence usually straight onto the back of the parked horse who is going backwards at the 400m. Good example yesterday was Montage at Invercargill. Montage a grinding type who likes the speed on was situated in a perfect position three deep the fence but the driver came off the fence to sit parked on a hot pace then got shuffled back then came three wide again before fading with 400m to go due to working too hard. The horse who took up his spot when he came off the fence was Robins Hustler who had the perfect trip and ran second.
  12. Like I have said before the people doing the comments are not from a racing background and also Entain do not want people to win just like you have been saying all this time, so why would they produce information to assist the punter to win!
  13. I agree serve it up to them and do not let them get their own way in front. There were a couple of races tonight where no one made a move until too late. Rush never put in the race in the Nellie Doyle race until too late. Let Blair run a slow time and sprint a 57.7 half in that one.
  14. Even their race start times are all up the shit.
  15. Terrible fields and will not be having a bet. Tonight the fields are not much better up there with the pacers final the only race worth betting into.
  16. Bit of a gimmick .... no way of telling if it is accurate or not.... I wouldn't trust any of the information coming out of Entain given their track record.
  17. Do you think they will pay out on the 26 and 81s
  18. Good news Brodie the bookies are getting worse as time goes on. The discrepancies between opening and closing odds is growing meaning value everywhere. I know a couple of blokes who have given them a hiding the last few months. The pricing on this meeting has been shocking lol.
  19. No never had a problem yet with replays, except when the HRNZ website is down. I never have to sign in to see them
  20. Lover Boy in race one according to the form guide has had one race on a wet track when it was actually Good and one race on a Good track when it was actually wet.
  21. How do we have no-one in charge capable of putting two and two together when the times obviously do not match the posted track conditions and quickly getting it sorted. I even heard drivers saying the track was very testing in places. There were dozens of drivers reports about horses not handling the track conditions. What conditions? The track was good wasn't it! For the stipes to post a good track in the report tells me a lot about how competent they actually are.
  22. Last year on Boxing Day 2023 the Track was rated as "Slow" and in the Westport Cup they went a time of 4.21 last 800m in 62.0 This year the track was rated as "Good" by the stipes and in the Westport Cup they went a time of 4.26.6 last 800m in 64.8 It was clearly soft or worse! You could see the track cutting up on the fence around the bends and I have seen quicker times on a heavy track. FFS if they can't even get the basics right how do they expect everyone to take them seriously on other stuff.
  23. Track condition today? Good or still a bit of moisture on it like it was on day one.
  24. Just give up Brodie! If they are giving incorrect track conditions, wrong drivers, wrong start type information, wrong times, wrong comments and recently wrong distance as well, chances are all or most of the data is flawed in some way, and if you can not trust the data to make an informed decision may as well give up betting all together.
  25. Absolutely disgraceful they have the track conditions as "Good" on the TAB when the pacers are coming home a last 800m in 67 seconds on a 2:12 mile rate. They get it wrong so often they should just put "All data is fucked" up there instead. Couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat!
