You need to see a specialist . A sick , sick man .
-
Just looked at the open heats , 7 horses at Awapuni yet 33 went around at Levin . All those horses had the option of going to the A/W trials . I think there is a message in there somewhere .
-
No 2yo heats and only 7 3yo's in 2 heats , yet they had 8 2yo's and 29 3yo's go around at the Levin J/O's , i think there is a message in there somewhere .

And as usual you would fucken know , more than people who work in the system , some things never change . Talk about driving political propaganda .
-
Interesting , i don't really get into political debate , but my wife is employed in the public health care sector and the union she is aligned to recently settled a long running wage increase demand , when it was finally settled and she was at a large meeting with the union people to go over what they were getting , the last thing the union people said to everybody there was that they understood people were pissed that it had taken so long and many might be upset with the Labour Govt taking so long to release more money to allow it to be settled , but Labour was working to rectify the health sector from 9 years of decay under National , and that it was easy to blame the current regime but that they had done more in the 4/5 years than had been done for decades and that they were still a long way from repairing the damage National had allowed . My wife says that talking to people she works with who have been there a lot longer than she has that they reckon whilst it's not perfect it is way better than it was . I don't really care i either way , never got anything off any of them because we are not breeders , they are all as bad as each other , but in some cases not .

I never got these guys that go to the races and sit in a bar all day and get pissed , just watch the races on a TV . When i went to Trentham as teenager in the mid 70s it used to amaze me at the state of some people getting on the train back to Wgtn , some could barely stand up .

You didn't happen to hear if the trainer gave him the bash as he dismounted .
-
The same as the last god knows how many racing ministers from both sides of the house , SFA .
-
For an insight into just how poor the riding standards are in the SI have a look at the ride in race 3 at Riccarton of Sanu Toolooa on Wee Tadhg , didn't really try on the horse till the 250mtrs and then you would have thought there was 20 horses around him . It was was one of the best efforts of having no idea that have seen for a while . Feel for the owner and trainer .

Don't know about that light at the end of the tunnel , it feels like we are in a tunnel way longer than the Laerdal tunnel and that must feel like its never ending at 24+kms .

Haha , just read that story 20mins ago and my first thought was that the guy is a blight on both us and the Warriors . The first step in turning both entities around is to get rid of this waste of space , he is a weight around the neck of both . The fact that he thinks SJ should be the next Kiwis coach shows he knows as little about rugby league as he does racing . Serial money grabber .

The Optimist: RIB the ne Elephant in the room for Nz Racing.

Won't have to worry about poor riding , there will be bugger all horses to ride . -
Well i have posted plenty about both SI and NZ riding standards and Pam is usually the first to post agreement .
-
Depends on how many and who he kissed , i would have run a fucken mile , good luck Pam .
-
Obviously no confidence in the camp , Pam had no lippy on so wasn't expecting a winning interview . Well done Pam , well deserved .

I can still remember the young fella that died in a race at Riverton at Easter time about 20 years ago , fell off horse but got foot caught in stirrup and got dragged along the fence line for a few hundred metres if i recall right . Might have been the catalyst for all courses getting the plastic running rails . It wasn't pretty to watch .

Unfortunately young Taiki has lost his battle , he passed away today , very sad day for racing and the worst side of the sport , rest easy and may you ride many G1's where ever you may be .

Are the A/W's already becoming a white elephant ???

Are the A/W's already becoming a white elephant ???

Just had a look to see where my 2yo might trial on a grass track in the Waikato in the near future , nada , there is only the choice of Cambridge synthetic or a long trip to Ruakaka , the next scheduled grass track trials are Te Rapa on the 4th of November , so basically 8 or 9 weeks . Talk about holding a gun to owners head . I thought they said they were closing down distant tracks to save owners money , only when it suits . I hope my trainer chooses to go to Ruakaka , no way i want my 2yo running on a synthetic . -
The fact that both clubs endorsed this is exactly why racing is in the dither that it is , diabolical that they didn't fight to keep it " Cup Week ". But then nothing about racing administration should surprise any of us now .

One for the Roc De Cambes enthusiasts. A rare one starting in OZ.

Well done Joe , hope you had heaps on it . Those RdC go good , Myers won the 3yo at Riccarton today with a first starter . -
Yeah just seen that before , didn't notice another page .

The jumpers are having a bad run at the moment , the Rotorua /BOP Hunt meeting on the 21st has been canned due to the on going repair work to the track after the last abandonment , NZTR looking at alternatives , is there any jumps venues left in the NI that can run the meeting .
