    Virus

Plenty of extra toilet paper been shipped in, reason being if anyone sneezes, everyone will shit themselves, certainly be on a roll.
  2. The media are creating the frenzy, sick of hearing about it, just blame climate change, seems to be to the blame of just about everything these days.
  3. I heard a pharmacy got broken into, and all the viagra was stolen, the authorities are looking for hardened criminals.
  4. Tidy run, as I thought locked up on the rail, best place to be with the junior on, ran on ok, plenty in behind, nice day out over there, racing average in my opinion, to much leader bias, all winners off the front, only truly run race was the big race, and the best finish, razors edge did slip under my guard.Reefton Sunday, anyone going over.
  5. Fair call, but I will probably follow him for the 2days, fields are a little average to say the least, will be trying to sort a few roughies, and stick with some from the xmas circuit, any of you boys going over.
  6. He's fast and furious the old favourite drawn inside 2nd line, be worth a bet, if he gets locked in there and gets a few gaps up the straight.
  7. She had a very patient owner, that's for sure, did appear on TV some years ago, with her trainer.
  8. Seen a couple rabbits hopping down the road, the other day, one stopped, and the other hopped on.
  9. Many of the horses I been backing have been finding the grass to high, and the tracks to long, anyone else having that issue.
  10. Personally I think luck plays more of a part, even the best of judges don't get it right, some will run and some wont, level playing field, whatever you spend.
  11. What about invercargill tomorrow, still be on.
  12. Smart devil very tidy frontrunner, if left to his own devices, different story when they learned to take him on.
  13. Great effort that, one of the mainstays of the souths training ranks, been around a long time.
  14. One scratched and a dry track no help but will stick with him, and biff in iffida in earlier race.
  15. Looked at nadira franco, inside 2nd line so should get a good trip, mobile, start and could run on, but odds last nite were to short for mine, may have see if they take it to the coast in March, might back standrews Masonic and fazzoli at wingatui, hope the track got a bit of moisture in it.
  16. Interesting watching the all the top bred horses, all of the who's who in the racing division, all casting their expert eye over the many lots on offer, at the end of the day all the horses bought across the board from top lots to bottom, we shall hear of their progress along the way, the fast ones, that is, will their success be judged on the expert eye of the purchaser, all the attributes and mannerism, the walk, price tag, and the breeding of the beast, we all know there is no guarantees purchasing a horse, is it down to all the attributes and the expert eye and skill of the purchaser as mentioned, or is it all irrelevant, and just plain old good luck. You be the judge.
  17. Surely that couldn't be right, after all those years you would think it was a given, but yeah not likely to find out.
  18. All sounds abit fishy to me.
  19. That's odd, they always used to follow Nelson in their June circuit, thats a long wait.
  20. I keep thinking they race on the all weather, haven't been able to change the mindset, anyway why the change to the grass and is it a permanent change.Do prefer grass track racing.
  21. Think the original facility at Greymouth was owned by the mawhera corporation, when it was up for renewal they wanted to double the lease to struggling club, they couldn't afford it and that was the end, now it's a barron piece of land with nothing on it, a real shame, both Westport and reefton took their days for the March meetings, and I think they battle with those days, they used to have an open class trot there back in the day, with some top trotters racing, great facilities at omoto, did hold a few pacing races sometime back when struggling to fill galloping fields, not sure why a permanent shift to omoto was never taken up.
  22. Interest some religious people with business, that don't watch television read newspapers, but have no problem using them for advertising ect, interesting documentary on glorivale a while back, they like to be shelf self sufficient with their own work force, even midwifery, but when things go wrong they rely on our hospitals, dont want to have anything to do with the outside world, until it suits, don't get me wrong that is the right thing to do when it's a matter of life and death, but just a tad hypocritical, or am I to harsh.
  23. Good luck, like the look of those odds, I got em kay pops at the gallops fixed at 81s and 18s, followed it the whole circuit and got a track to suit yesterday,3 wide the trip and finished third, deserved a better fate to be fair. Good open fields at timaru today but cant see much, is a few roughies paying big fixed prices, finding the right one the challenge.
  24. Many a fine tune played on an old fiddle.
  25. Anyone hear what their turnover was.
