    • Right so Kah can't win with can she?  If the horse is well ridden and wins its the horse that did it and anyone could have ridden it. If the horse gets skittled early and Kah recovers but the horse won't move out when she reins it to its Kahs fault. Just keep banging on and on being a knocker and don't back her ever again. Geez you must have a lot of time on your hands if you can sit their analysing all her rides.  Actually you don't really do that do you? I gather your hobby is trying to knock down tall poppies.
    • I had one of them radio booster things, either bought it out of Turf Digest of Truth also putting radio up against post and wire fe ce worked, wasn't always convenient uf you going to town to take the fence with you lol but the wee device did work. That would have been the mid 80s. Strangely in today's day and age we have so much available with the internet but still moan sometimes. All the oldies like the radio, lots of youngans probably don't know what a AM radio is.
    • An impossible Task altogether Walt 😎. Gammalite never won in 6 career starts at Addington. He won 2 Big races at Auckland though , from 5 starts there. The 83' Interdominion and the 82' Auckland Cup. I don't actually know any of the connections of Gammalite.  The photo above is Lightning Blue winning the 87' Interdominion Grand Final at Addington from QLDer Sunset Candios and NSWer Paleface Bubble. A great night out. I travelled many places with Lightning Blue but was unfortunately in Queensland competing when he returned to NZ for the NZ Cup bid later that year. (he won that as well over luxury Liner)  Here he is tied up to a very old valiant. Used to stick the 2 stallions on either side of the car and just drive around for a while 😂🤣. good bit of exercise lol. He loved it and would stick his head in the window and chat To ya and have a good old time trying to pick the radio music lol.😆  He (Lightning Blue) is very fine build for a stallion. 'Blue' Would of beaten Gammalite by 50m or more if he ever had raced him. 'Blue' had to race much faster horses. Narrowly beaten by Master Mood in the Miracle Mile , A great win for NZ. Village Kid beaten into 3rd on that occasion in that Miracle Mile , so a great achievement to beat that speed horse champion home anyway.
    • Dog Penalties  TEA TIME TIGER | Christchurch 13 May; unsatisfactory performance; must complete trial.  LET HIM COOK | Southland 15 May; failed to pursue the lure; stood down for 28 days and must complete trial.  BIG TIME ALY | Auckland 19 May; turned in boxes; must complete box trial.  General  The Christchurch GRC meeting of 16 May (Races 10-12) and the meeting scheduled for 17 May were abandoned due to track conditions.  The post 13-19 May 2024 appeared first on RIB.
