Coming into the valuable six-furlong median auction race on the back of a Down Royal maiden win last month, the 13-2 shot tracked the pace near side and stayed on best in the final 50 yards to beat Unbreakable Duke (Advertise) by 3/4 of a length. The idea is that their entry into the Hall of Fame is a 'Group 1-level' reward, a recognition both public and private, a source of pride, an indelible mark… and that each new inductee experiences a unique moment on their special day.” The post French Horse Racing Hall of Fame To Be Launched At Deauville  appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions. • Dan Tordjman has been appointed as president of TJC Media Ventures after previously serving as vice president since 2024, the Jockey Club announced Monday. Overseeing record growth in viewership and engagement with America's Best Racing (ABR) content since joining in 2014, Tordjman has overseen digital strategy, content development, and industry partnerships in his 20 years of professional experience. Prior to his role as vice president, Tordjman served as manager of Partnerships & Sponsorships, building and nurturing strategic relationships with racetracks, ADWs, and other industry stakeholders. His team also created and developed the influencer program “A Stake in Stardom,” which has drawn industry-wide accolades and continues to garner mass attention from younger generations through the help of Griffin Johnson as a part owner of Grade I winner Sandman (Tapit) and 'TDN Rising Star' GSW Ewing (Knicks Go). “With Dan's strong background in digital strategy and industry partnerships, he is continuing to garner attention through the implementation of programs like A Stake in Stardom that advance our sport and its fanbase, ushering in a new generation of horse racing enthusiasts,” said James L. Gagliano, president and COO, The Jockey Club, and chair of ABR. “We are very pleased with the growing success of America's Best Racing, and I know that much of that success is because of Dan's devotion to promoting racing.” The post Dan Tordjman Named President of TJC Media Ventures appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions. • Newsells Park Stud will sponsor the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes for the next three years. This year's renewal of the £60,000 contest takes place on the July Course at Newmarket on Saturday 9th August. The Sweet Solera Stakes was first run in 1973 and commemorates Sweet Solera, winner of the 1000 Guineas and Oaks in 1961.  Graham Smith-Bernal, owner of Newsells Park Stud, commented, “We are truly excited to be sponsoring the Sweet Solera Stakes and to support such an important race at our local track. The Sweet Solera so often throws up future classic winners and was won last year by Lake Victoria who went on to win the Irish Guineas.  “The race fits hand in glove with our aspiration to continue breeding Classic-winning fillies of the future”.  Sophie Able, Newmarket Racecourses and International Director, The Jockey Club, added, “It is fantastic news that Newsells Park Stud will be partnering with Newmarket to support the Sweet Solera Stakes.  “One of the highlights of our Summer Saturdays on the July Course, the Sweet Solera Stakes is frequently targeted by high-class juvenile fillies and I think it should prove the perfect fit for such a prestigious bloodstock operation as Newsells Park Stud.” The post Newsells Park Stud To Sponsor The Sweet Solera Stakes  appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
